First thing, they do not go to any post conviction hearings. In my case, this means that they should not have gone to any hearings after they plead guilty in my case.
For those who are not familiar with the court process, this would be the status update conferences. I had over 5. This means most people that retain this office will have to go in front of the judge on their own.
In my case, they did attend some of these hearings for me.
I believe they did so only after I was upset because the attorney Nima laughed at me during a conversation and lied to me (I have messaged proof).
I also have to call of work multiple times to attempt to do my booking because of their office’s lies and misinformation to me. They even sent me to a location to attempt to turn myself in that did not have ANY of the equipment to do any bookings. It was a waste of time and caused a lot of issues with my employer.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I almost signed a booking form to turn myself in that was for a FELONY when I had a misdemeanor. My minimum sentencing would have been longer than what I would have needed under my misdemeanor and I am really glad I read all my papers (unlike their office) because I do not even want to think about what would have happened if I would have signed for the felony charge.
If you want to take your chances still, hope that you get Shayan as your case manager. He was the only helpful person here.

In 2014 I was arrested on a DUI. I chose this law firm because somebody had the courtesy to leave a good review. What sold me was that Nima replied to the reviews personally. I had to travel to downtown LA for our meeting but their address is not hard to find. Our first meeting was respectful and I knew I had made the right choice, my wife wasn’t so sure. That was the first and only time I had to meet face to face with Nima. His team of able associates made the rest of the process easy for me. They all have the customer service, empathy, responsiveness and etiquette of a 5 star hotel. I was given an affordable payment plan to settle the fees in 3 or 4 installments. They kept me updated through an online portal and replied promptly to all my inquiries. On my court date, I met with the associate who would be going into the court room with me for a quick briefing. Then she went inside to get ready. As I waited other guys were also meeting with their lawyers outside and I couldn’t believe how those lawyers spoke to them with disrespect. One lawyer had over 20 cases that morning, no way he was going to give each client personalized attention. I thanked God for leading me to H Law and not to those sharks. My time in court was simple, I spoke only when spoken to and let my lawyer take full control. Because I had refused the breath test or to offer a blood sample, DMV suspended my license for 12 months. That was tough but not as tough as going for AA meetings, DUI class or doing community work. I haven’t drank since my arrest and I couldn’t taste a drop of alcohol ever again. Nima told me on our first meeting, none of his clients ever get a second DUI. I had a free counselling session that day in 2014 and I left that office better for having met Nima. I was promised that once I finished my court probation H Law would help me file for my case to be expunged and get the court records sealed. I’m happy to say that they lived up to their word and despite having many current cases, they treated my old case as if it was a new one and promptly got my case dismissed. No bill was sent to me. Now that’s what I call integrity, H Law is the firm you need if you have a DUI. Great job H Law!

Towards the end of 2019, I was heading home from a party and a police officer stopped me, 30 mins later I found myself going to jail. after I got out, I called h law and they agreed to represent me and defend my dui charge. I went in for a consult and they told me they'd handle my case and go to court for me. I am astonished by how well they handled my case, this was my second dui charge and they got me off pretty good, they didn't get my case dismissed by they managed to get me a good deal from the prosecutor and I didn't have to spend any time in jail and got a restrict license so I can go to work and school. im really happy with this law firm and recommend it to anyone whos trying to fight a dui or drunk driving charges. Horrible representation!! Everytime we went to court ( 4 times) we had a different lawyer who had no knowledge of our case. Needless to say, My husband was prosecuted to the fullest. Also, they will never talk to you on the phone!! Everything is done through a portal. This is a traumatic event in your life and to not even be able to call your lawyer direct is so impersonal. We would have been better off with a public defender. $3800.00 down the drain.

Find yourself a better law firm, I regret my decision to select them. My main complaint among a few, was their failure to hire an expert before the pre- trial hearing. It was my understanding that they would, and they never did. The administrative staff and paralegals seemed to be on top of things but that didn’t make a difference in my case. In the end, I got the same deal I would have got with a free or low cost public defender. I understand the specifics of my case completely, but I don’t think the lawyers did everything they could have done in order for me to get the best results.

Got a dui in downtown after leaving cliftons. Got stopped at a checkpoint amd thought I was totally fine. I drank two beers and spoke to the officers just fine. The officers then said they smelled alcohol on my breath. So I did the test and blew A 0.07. They still gave me a dui. So i hired this lawfirm and they did a-z. Didnt call them once, but they regularly did update me. They did dmv stuff and ended up getting my case dismissed.
