I was navigating a Federal Income Tax audit while overseas and found working with the IRS to be an impossible venture. I submitted all required supporting documentation promptly and in accordance with the instructions that the IRS had provided. Several months later, I received a letter from the IRS stating the rejection of all of my claims.

I gave a 1 star over a year ago and was given my money back to take it down. That was fine but I recently had another bad experience. After 2 years of my audit I received a letter in the mail that I owed NY State (I lived there in 2014-the audit year) over $650 because my attorney never reported my new income to them. So I was charged fees and penalties. I was emailed that they weren’t hired to do that. Only to handle my IRS audit. But you’d think that they would tell you or mention something-I mean isn’t that why u hire a professional?! How would I know? Look in my crystal ball? I called NY State and they said my attorney most likely forgot or didn’t realize it. Sooo this is an excuse given office. No one ever takes responsibility and says SORRY! Bottom line- I hired a company to take care of my issue and it ended up costing me more money. How was I supposed to know? You failed to tell me and lead me. This exact thing happened when I wrote my first review. Failure to tell me important information!!! Hire them. But only if u have a crystal ball.
And to your reply....NEW YORK is all over my return. I even asked brad shriver on our 1 on 1 meeting ‘can u handle this because I lived in NY?’ I was told a few days ago ur firm didn’t ‘do that’ now ur saying u would have done it? Call me a liar. ‘Make an excuse law firm at your service’.

These people saved me. Didn't know where to turn with my audit didn't even know what an audit was for sure. It was serious but my attorney walked me through it and I paid less than I thought. I apprciate it very much.
