Mrs. Eckman was my attorney in my first DWI case. I will be brief and state that I did take a plea deal and accept the charge. Why consider her then, you may ask.
What impressed me the most about Victoria was primarily her honesty. But, I also appreciated her altruistic approach to my personal situation and how succinct she was in explaining legal matters to me. I don't want to criticize her ability as an attorney solely on the outcome of this simple case; there are always other factors to consider.
Of course I wasn't facing prison time with this particular case either. In the event that I was, I would certainly be less forgiving in my review towards any attorney LOL But, don't take that statement out of context and assume that I am questioning her ability to defend felony charges.
In any case, I would recommend her service to my fellow Midlanders who find themselves in a tight spot due to singular and even repeated moments of of poor judgement.
Simply put, I was simply pleased with not going to jail and I thank you Mrs. Eckman for your help and kind nature.
God willing, our paths will never cross in a courtroom again but if they do, I know that I am in good hands.
