A waste of money for me. Promises results that he did not deliver. I would rather hear "I will do my best" instead nonchalantly promising a desired result . The 1500 dollar fee would have paid my fines off. The public defender could have done better!

My husband and I hired Mr Taylor to handle a fairly complex case and although we were nervous about his capabilities, he did nothing but assure us not to worry. In spite of it being hard to contact him and to get a returned phone call, in the end JD held true to his word. After a year of court appearances all charges were dismissed against my husband due to JD Taylor’s perseverance and commitment to the case. I can't say enough about this firm and their commitment to excellence. The Jackson County da's office indicted me on a garbage charge really just because of my past, the majority of which was over a decade old. Most attorneys get paid to cover their retainer and do whatever they can to get you a good please, but when Josh saw that the case was unjust and their plea agreements were unreasonable he didn't hesitate to suggest we take them to trial, even when they threatened to charge me as a habitual offender. Calvin Taylor might be a good lawyer for criminal but is not a family lawyer. I have a friend that hired him and she didn't get to talk to him except for 5 minutes before court. He has told the other lawyer to tell her clients to keep the children away from there grandparents. I think that is pretty shity of a lawyer that you pay $3500.00 to. And that is what he has to say about you and he is suppose to be your lawyer and not the other sides lawyer. I will never hire this man for anything.

Wow, I don't know where to begin!! I had a situation with my two sons. I went to see Calvin Taylor from the moment I met with him he seemed genuinely concerned about our situation. He was honest, understanding and very generous to the issue. He not only took our circumstances in consideration, but we walked out of there with a blessing. The next time we went there, we learned our case had been signed to a different attorney. At first I was a little upset and concerned. We now have this young attorney who is not familiar with our case. Let me say this looks are deceiving. I felt he maybe was too young, inexperienced, or might not fight as hard. Boy, was I wrong... T. J. Taylor was the best person for our case. If they tell you all attorneys give you the run around it's a lie. If they tell you Taylor Law Firm is a rip off it's a lie. Calvin Taylor was the only lawyer that I've had in 22 years of going after my ex for child support that actually cared and did exactly what he told me he would do when I hired him. He tracked my ex down. He got him into court and he had him put in jail for six months and hold him accountable to pay me the back child support owed each month. When I hear of anyone having child support issues I always suggest given Calvin a call.

Calvin Taylor is by far the best attorney myself and my husband have ever had. We had an attorney at the beginning of our case who did nothing for us at all. After a few years went by and nothing ever happened, we were referred by a friend of the family to Taylor Law firm. Our case was a very stressful and time consuming case and had we known about and hired Calvin from the beginning, it would have ended a lot sooner. From the moment we hired him, he fought for us. I see people complaining that he never returned phone calls but any time I have had to have an attorney for ANYTHING, I rarely talked to them much except for during briefings and before or after court. He is very busy because he has a lot of clients he is working hard for. He was awesome in our court case and fought for us until the end and even won our case against a GAL who had turned against us at the last minute. I would hire him and his firm again if needed. He is not one of those attorney's who backs down either. He definitely puts up a fight for his clients. I doubt we will ever have a court case in Pascagoula again but if we ever do, He will be the one we hire for sure. Tara is also amazing. She was right there with us every step and always communicated with me or my husband via phone, text or email.

Well let me tell you About Calvin and Taylor law firm. Ive had the pleasure and lol displeasure of being on both side of him. As a police officer of 19 years, I know when I have a case against him, I better bring my A game. He has a talent of finding the weakness in a case and exploiting it; sometimes even embarrassing the most veteran of officers. Calvin is a good guy outside of the court room, but when walking into the "battle field" its all business. Having to face him on many cases I knew he and his firm was the guy I wanted to fight my battle in court to get my two daughters. After using 2 different attorneys and never really getting anywhere (except for W.T. she helped me out alot but she felt I needed a more veteran attorney to handle my case so she referred me to Taylor Law Firm after several years of back and forth) Calvin took my case and his staff handled the rest. At the end of the trial I not only was awarded full custody of both of my daughters she had to pay me child support while losing her visitation rights. Since 2014 ive not had to deal with anything with the courts, Calvin handled busines. The worst and by far the most dispeciable law firm ever. All they want is your money. If you call, you won't be able to reach him. If you leave a message, he will never return your call. If you come to his office to see him, his secretary will tell you he is busy and he will call you- but he won't. The only time he sees you is when you first meet him to briefly discuss your situation, he collects the money and then he disappears til the court date. We did not get to talk to him to go into details about our case. He doesn't know anything beside our brief letting the first day. When the case was done, his secretary said to come and pick up some paper work. We ask to speak to him to see what was going on and the secretary said "no, he's done with your case so everything is in the paperwork." Mind you, we never received a phone to even update us on the case. And we could never get a hold of him when we call!! I've never heard of such horrible excuse for a law firm! If you have any problems, I highly encourage you guys to bring your business elsewhere. Because these people DO NOT care about anything other than getting your money. What's done is done, I just want others to be aware of their horrible service.
