Tom Buckle helped me through a very difficult and contentious legal process with a family member. He was kind, understanding, and very forthright about the process. I found him to be easily available, when I needed to consult. I really appreciated his support.

My sister administrater hired him for probate court. Yikes!! seems to not be knowledgeable on probate terms, Apparently he told my brother that he could file homestead when my mom passed away, Come to find out there’s no such thing as Homestead it was deleted maybe two or three years ago. Doesn’t do his homework before he talks. You want to keep peace with your family!! Don’t pick him!! Seem to be more interested in the money than family morals.

Jeff Tippens an attorney at this firm discussed me and my case to a client of mine, telling her private and damaging details which were protected by my right to privacy. The client no longer uses my services nor responded to communication. To have an attorney discuss your case behind your back to people you work for is unethical, unprofessional, hurtful and illegal. If you don't want your community knowing about your private legal matters don't use Scanlon, Buckle and Young. I filed a report with the Texas Bar Association.
Tom Buckle is a pick to be the best lawyer in town. Enough said. Outstanding firm.

I want to thank attorney Tom Buckle with Scanlan, Buckle & Young, P.C., in Austin, TX, for helping my elderly father with his estate planning. It has been a real challenge for Dad with his health conditions and hearing problems, but Tom has been very patient and courteous. Tom has the expertise to manage my father’s complicated affairs and yet, be able to explain procedures in a way that we can understand. I trust his knowledge and welcome his assistance in future legal matters as well.
