Update from 1st post! Attorney Robert Keates has done an impeccable job, in successfully having the GPS monitor and conditions off! His first day in court for my case. I won’t go into Detail, until case is dismissed. Robert Keates is a man of action! He does what he says he will and keeps you up to date! Just to fill you in, this was all last minute preparation, I supplied him the ammo for his arsenal to make sure he would achieve his goal, and in 30 minutes, my life went back on track and my family can now be cared for . Mind you, the info I supplied proved to hold the weight to tip the courts scale in our favor! If you have a case, supply your attorney with as much as possible, it may prove Priceless! I feel like Mr. Keates did not even try in my case. Maybe because he was appointed by the court to me, or maybe his expertise is not in criminal law, but I sat in county jail for 7 months, lost my career and everything that I worked for, for him to talk me into taking a 2 yr sentence that I would not be able to make parole on, which was the first offer (and he advised me the only offer). This was all for a petty theft crime that I should not have sat in prison so long for. Yes, I committed the crime and not him, but his job was to fight for me and he didn't, so I did not get a fair trial. He did keep my family posted though and was great with communication.

I have used Mr Keates twice now, he is very good at his job. He kept up with me and let me know exactly what was going on the entire time. He made sure I knew everything about my situation and what was happening. Robert Keates is absolutely the most understanding and nonjudgemental person I have ever met. I got in trouble last summer in Austin, for misrepresentation of age by a minor trying to get into a bar on 6th street.
