I knew about divorce lawyers going into my divorce. I must say that my attorneys help keep the reputation alive. I had the worst experiences with Cordell & Cordell. If you are considering using them, don't waste your time or your money. I only went with them because of a recommendation by a friend and some of the misleading sales information on their website, which they use to promote and sell their firm. Use a mediation firm if you can. Spare yourself the time money and anguish. Don't waste your time. The more money they think you have available, the more they are going to string you along. Long story short, I met with the office manager their, who I later learned was very deceiving and manipulating. My first attorney, Kinsler, whole was assigned to me was either very inexperience or just didn't care about my case. They are all commission there and have a hidden agenda. After about 30 or more days of being assigned to me, she called me late in the evening and the night before my hearing to plan my testimony. Honestly, I knew i was screwed. On top of that, her and a few of her colleges were very biased towards men. I felt like she was working for my ex wife the whole time. Keep in mind, I'm very pro women, but these female attorneys at Cordell seem to have resentment for men and expressed it openly. She rejected using certain evidence that I recommended and that she thought was petty. Easy for her to say! She wasn't the one going to have to pay $11K in attorney fees for one hearing, 2 office visits, and back and fort emailing. To make matters worse, I demanded to change to another attorney which was the office manager, who Mrs. Pillonel . Again. no integrity and very bias towards men. I find it funny that both of the attorneys worked for a firm that fights for dad's rights. Sadly, I figured Mrs. Pillonel grand scheme $2,500K later. I can go on for days on how I lost $10K to the Cordell law firm, for 2 days worth of work, if not that. Take this as a warning fellas or perspective dads. Cordell & Cordell is nothing but a retail law firm. Quantity over Quality. Not worth it. I had to add this final piece because I found out that I have been unknowingly paying more child support than was ordered by the court. This was because of my attorneys at Cordell determined I had to pay because of the temporary order. Come to find out they never saw the temporary order and had me paying at least a $100 or more dollars. Finally, when I try to cancel my services sad mind games that Mrs. Pillonell was trying to play. I hope this helps someone.

I cannot recommend this law firm enough. After 2 years of no results at the results of negligence my case has received, and previous cordell and cordell attorneys malpractice they came back and manipulated facts and flat out lied to try and recuse themselves of any financial liability, which im currently fighting. This is not a morally ethical company. Stay away.

After the nightmare of a lawyer I had before and years of being bullied by my ex and her lawyer while trying to represent myself, C & C (and especially Cassandra P.) have restored both my faith in lawyers and the legal system. Their rates, while not cheap, are exactly in line with any other given firm and they usually have several different lawyers with different rates for you to choose from. My case was handled with professionalism from start to finish. They kept me informed of my options via phone calls and frequent emails, they let me dictate how I wanted to proceed, and their website let me track both the current progress and costs of my case so it never felt like my money was just disappearing or going to waste. Their help has been like finding a real-life "Easy" button. Not only did they represent me in the case itself, but they also oversaw the follow-up appeal/hearing(s). The hardest part for me was keeping a straight face and somber appearance in the courthouse as we won and won and won.
Worst experience of our life in Tarrant County. Parental alienation is real and they don't know God. Enough said.

I was served with papers by complete surprise for a law suit. My case is far from a standard case and is significantly emotionally and legally challenging. I reached out to Cordell and Cordell and I was given a list of attorneys to choose from along with their rates and biographies. The entire process was very straight-forward and easy to navigate. I chose to work with Cassandra Pillonel because I felt I needed experienced representation due to some complicating factors in my case. I feel that was a great choice.
Cassandra is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, and probably most importantly honest and forthright. She showed empathy for how I felt throughout my case, but she was always advising me on the specific relevant law that related to my case and what is realistic. I do not know the final outcome of the case, but I am confident I have the right person by my side to help navigate these waters. To this point, she has been able to predict with great accuracy what is going to happen in the case as well as develop a strategy for any of the possible outcomes. I would strongly recommend Cassandra to anyone I know who is facing legal difficulty. It has certainly been a good choice for me.
