David is a very expensive lawyer. He did not do any of the things he promised. His paralegal Rebecca is not very intelligent. She doesn’t pay attention to the things you ask or tell her. She didn’t know anything about my case when i would talk to her. I would always have to remind her of things pertaining to my case. There were things that I told her specifically that I wanted and they did not happen. When I let her know that, she turned it around on me. I guess it was my fault for trusting my lawyer. I wouldn’t recommend David Baker to anyone. There are way better lawyers out there for a lot less money. He rips you off, his retainer is 4 grand and once your retainer has been met all work stops until you give more money. It cost me 10 grand to lose more time with my child and then they messed up terms that I made very clear. DO NOT USE DAVID BAKER AS YOUR LAWYER. HE WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GET NOTHING DONE FOR YOU.

I hired this firm to handle a personal injury case, following a car accident.
I say this "firm", because every single person at David Baker's office was involved with my case.
Any time that I called or went to the office, whomever I encountered knew who I was, and handled my questions or concerns quickly and professionally.
Mr. Baker was not at all intimidated by the punches being thrown by the "very large" insurance company's legal counsel.
On several occasions, he took the time to call me or see me personally when I needed reassurance or an explanation of what was happening.
We were ready to go to trial, and he was very thorough in his preparations.
Ultimately, we settled out of court two weeks before our court case was scheduled to begin, for an amount that was fair and very close to what we were seeking.
I feel that Mr. Baker's guidance was always with my best interest as priority, and would be comfortable with hiring him again.

I know most of us generally don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about attorneys until we need one - I can honestly state that is no longer my scenario, now I have one I can trust because he demonstrated he stands by his word. I simply had a menial eviction case which is nothing compared to the services this firm performs yet his entire office was pleasant & stayed in communication with me. I don't blindly trust, particularly lawyers but this firm was the exception for me. So if you need civil representation, consult many but choose here since honesty & integrity is their standard of practice.

David Baker is a HORRIBLE attorney. His retainers are non-refundable and he charges an astronomical fee for phone calls, emails, and letters to him or from him. He will meet your retainer before you ever even see a court room and demand more money from you and will sit there with his arms crossed and stop all work on your case unless you come up with more money. I will be reporting him to the Florida Bar Association as well as the Better Business Bureau. David is a crook. I know some police officers who worked with him and they all say he is a scumbag attorney. I wish I had known this before I hired him. I was emotional and he prayed upon that. He also forced me to sign documents and gave me false hope for my case. I fired him and hired another attorney and he is still sending me bills. He even billed me $50 for a sticky note that I wrote on and left in his office. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!
