I was personally recommended to an attorney, who worked for Rue & Ziffra, so I called and sought her out. They sent an attorney to my job the very same day to determine if I had a case. I was in pain and angry. He was a gem, took my statement and the next day I heard from my case manager, Nichole Nicholson and my attorney, Kim Bouck. We kept in contact and I was happy with how the communication went on my case. When I had a concern I just called or e-mailed and it was addressed. They kept me informed the entire time. Allan Ziffra, my lawyer didn't show up for the mediation. He sent another lawyer who wasn't familiar with my case, in fact I had never even met him before the mediation. I wouldn't recommend this firm.

There is a difference between making a case, and, settling a case.
If you need someone to, 'file your case'...or, have an assistant, 'file your case', I still recommend ANY OTHER FIRM. This firm took on an auto accident/personal injury case, sat on it as I gathered pertinent information. I had to call a meeting in order to speak directly with my attorney, only to be told the case wasn't "going anywhere".
At this point, Mr. Garcia communicates to me via e-mail, he isn't able to prove my case, should I want to take it to another firm, we can simply, "part ways". I did just that, after specifically reiterating Mr. Garcia's 'perceived inability' to collect even the, "Term Limits".
In the meantime Mr. Garcia has sent me to, "their doctor's". Their doctor then over-injected me with steroids, which collapsed my hip, which led to a complete hip replacement...at 47.
My new firm got the job done....and guess what y'all??! LUIS GARCIA was standing right there, greedy little paws, demanding $6000.00.

My name is Nancy Burgess & my husband Jerry & I were injured in a traffic accident in July of 2018.I wrote about the excellent treatment Jerry had when he received his settlement and now it's my turn to express my gratitude to this wonderful law firm. After trying to work with the insurance company for a few weeks when I called I started to get transferred a lot. After too many calls and no one willing to give me answers to important questions I knew that I could not handle the stress and needed to hire an attorney. Rue & Ziffra has a good reputation in Volusia County so I decided to contact them. I had an appointment to next day, spoke with a very knowledgeable person, Lori Stack, and explained that I was concerned that I had a permanent injury and I was afraid that the upcoming medical bills would not be covered. At that meeting Mr. Ziffra came in and spoke to me. Leaving the office I felt a load lifted off my back.
The conclusion of the case was that my medical expenses up to that point had been paid, I got the correct medical treatment I needed and I feel certain that the settlement was fair and assured me that there is sufficient money to cover any upcoming medical expenses.

Nice people, but when it comes to delivering to these people they are cheap when it comes down to tipping someone. We work hard too.

My case had extraneous circumstances and Mr. Ziffra worked though it until we won. I felt terrible because it was not easy, but in the end he and his team prevailed. I hope I will never need another lawyer but, if I do, I will call him again.

A friend of mine referred me to Rue and Ziffra, when I decided to file for disability, in 2018. Knowing ahead of time, that the process for disability application is grueling, I decided to hire an expert in the field. Even though the process took about 18 months, the outcome was absolutely positive. From the very first interaction with Rue and Ziffra, they discussed my options with me thoroughly, went over the entire process with me, and gave me their assessment of my outcome. They were positive from the beginning that they could get an approval for disability benefits for me.

Everyone in their office is very professional, extremely knowledgeable in their field, and prompt and courteous when responding to phone calls, emails, or any other questions that might come up during the application process. I'm so glad that I hired Rue and Ziffra, for my disability case. They work on a commission basis, so if you don't win, they don't get paid. So it's always going to be a win-win for you! Don't ever use this law firm. I went to this firm with irrefutable evidence that Doctors not only committed a fake surgery on me and clear evidence of Medicaid fraud and after bringing in my images to the firm and them having there medical team review my images her medical team intentionally lied.
I had a fake surgery done where they said I had a aneurysm and it was repaired with a graft.
Other doctors reviewed my images and confirmed I never had a aneurysm nor was there a graft there. I went to this law firm and this medical team reviewed my images and lied and said they observed a graft there and it was a radio active graft and other doctors missed out because they needed a special test done to see it because it was radio active.
There is no such thing as radio active graft.

They are not to be trusted!

I would never refer anyone to this law firm ever, and especially for a person of color. After talking to a friend of mine and from my own experience it was apparent that if your suit is set at $200,000 or even 300,000, you can be certain that as a person of color the amount you will be awarded is no more than $20,000 to $25,000. I will just say when your suit is settled there isn't enough money to sustain you until you recuperate.

I wouldn’t use this group ever again. In my 2 years that I had them working my case I spoke to my attorney three times. The total hours worked on my case in two years was less than 60 hours. Everything else was put through his paralegals whom were not good doing anything. They insisted on email contact vs phone even after asking multiple times not to email. They definitely weren’t at bat for me, they were there for themselves. I had to constantly hound them for new doctors to be assigned to me after I moved away from Florida. They always told me my settlement would take 8-10 weeks when it ended up being 4 months and blamed that on child support documents when I have never paid support and even wasted time sending those documents to the county I worked in and had never lived in. (I’m sure this was to be able to charge me more so they had more $ for themselves). They also had many errors in my settlement agreement itself in which I had to make them aware of. Upon my settlement they withheld $200 for any extra fees if needed for any extra time they put into my claim after it was closed. They then billed me postage for sending my medical records which they tried to bill me for (I already paid for all of those per my settlement) and interest out of that. I have requested a itemized statement showing postage and interest and the state that they are unable to provide that I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone. They have been nothing but a major headache!
