Very little time given to people who have committed violent crimes or child sex crimes! Victims really suffer as the DA barely offer gas to relocate. More needs to be done to the criminal and for the victim

Lisa Cano was murdered by her son, Joshua Hunt on July 18th, 2014. He has been charged with 1st degree murder and tampering with evidence. Joshua killed his mother by striking her 16 times with a sword while she slept. This man is undoubtedly guilty and yet the Las Cruces District Attourney has yet to convict and sentence him. I under stand there is a legal 'process'. What I don't understand is why it has taken so long for there to be justice for Lisa. I was originally in contact with the victim advocate. When the case started there was also a different DA. I have left 8 messages in 3 weeks for the victim advocate. I have also requested a call directly from the new DA on the case. Both to no avail. I believe that justice is not being served. I believe they are taking too long, and it's not fair that I have to sit back and wait while nothing is being done. So this is it. In doing something. I'm going to shout it out so the world will shout back "Justice for Lisa"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
