In April of 2018 I was charged with a very serious crime and my freedom was hanging on a thread
In hind sight I was innocent but it was a very complicated case.

I needed an expuntion for a criminal offense i had over 4 years ago. My previous lawyer was original suppose to accomplish this task for me and did not. I call Chernoff Law Firm and within a week had filed for my expuntion and kept me updated while I was waiting to get it. Also they gave me a detailed explanation as to how the expungement works and what all it entails. Chernoff law assistant Gina Tyroch was very sympathetic and well informed as called and kept me updated throughout the process. These guys are great and there work speaks for itself.

Honestly, if you have a big case that your livelyhood depends on DO NOT HIRE this attorney. Very unprofessional and unorganized. His staff was late they would not communicate with each Other. If I had a question it was a hassle to answer I mean he had no motivation to beat the case it was a complete waste I feel like he did the minimum he could. On the same token I did a couple things that did not help me but at the same time I felt like as an attorney it's his duty to resolve those issues . At the end of the day he believes he did good in reality he did not ..my advice to someone seeking excellent console is to do extensive research go visit them and talk to others that are in the same situations dont just read reviews as i did.

What can I say. Mr. Chernoff is a bulldog in that courtroom, respected by everybody. After a year of back and fourth to the court house, today was a victory. I didnt have a spotless record but Mr. Chernoff was able to get what we set out for in the beginning. My advice is if you are looking for a good attorney this is your guy. He showed that he cared about his clients and take pride in his achievements in that courtroom & he is straight forward too and will not B/S you. Mr. Chernoff was everything I wanted in a Lawyer. He is honest and professional and will not sugarcoat the process. And Trust me, it's a process. Last summer, I was charged with possession of marijuana 5-50 pounds. It's a third degree State felony and can get you 2-10 years in a State prison and/or a fine of $10000. While in custody, the police would try to intimidate me. They said if I tried to fight the case in court they would slap more charges on me. The police assured me my best bet was to plead guilty or cooperate with the detectives, because the evidence against me was far too great for any other option. I received several consultations from well known lawyers around Houston. They said best case scenario, I could get probation and maybe get my felony dropped down to a misdemeanor.

My experience with Chernoff Law was nothing less than professional.
