Fools that offer assurance but resulted in mistrust.. I asked these so called lawyers to provide me with ALL correspondence after they failed me and they "cut" me off. Had to deal with my ex wife's lawyer to finalize stuff? HUM.. but I'll work the remainder of my life to make things "right" GOD's law.. not their's. I paid these fools and then I had to "deal" with my ex wife's lawyer... traumatizing! Should be disbarred due to gross incompetency in the practice of the profession. And I'll prove that ! These guys are a joke. Very convincing and reassuring in a free initial call. But after that first call and they get you to sign papers and your retainer, you're stuck with their total lack of on time responses and deceit. Luckily I found someone else, but they drained me for the retainer for every call or short email afterward; many of which could have been avoided had they been more thorough initially. They don't communicate effectively and instead only do what is easiest for them and will make them the most money for the least amount of work. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible experience dealing with this firm! Absolute crooks. I obtained their services for an uncontested divorce for which I paid a $5000 retainer fee. After reconciliation with my wife i received an invoice for $1800 for the services but was told I would not receive a refund for the remainder of the retainer fee. Use another firm! Absolute worst experience ever!!!!

They're your "One Stop, Attorney Shop!!!!" Before Krieger & Ongert, we went through four attorneys over a period six years. These attorneys only put a bandaid on the problem, if they did anything at all. Krieger and Ongert took care of our situation in about six months. Cool thing about Krieger and Ongert is that you're not hiring "AN" attorney, you are hiring a "TEAM" of attorneys. They treat you like family, and with that being said, you don't mess with family is the feeling that we received, and your opponent now takes on the "WHOLE" family. Krueger and Ongert are fair, firm, and swift. They are familiar with the judges, they are totally up to date on the law. They are the only attorneys that we used that did not have to open a book in front of us to familiarize themselves of the law. Also, they are very fair and honest on the price. The only thing I wish that we would have done different is that we should have gave them a chance first. They even let us make a couple of payments rather then one lump sum. We would of gladly gave Krieger and Ongert a million stars if we could have. Our family is happier then ever thanks to these fokes, so my suggestion to YOU AND YOURS is to give Krieger & Ongert a chance. I assure that they WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!!! Tell'em.... Very professional and efficient! After dealing with an attorney that didn't think 2 months was too long to even start my case, to an attorney that didn't want to do anything but wanted more money and me to do all the research and paperwork, I found this group that "has an app" for that! They maintained instant communication, professional attitudes, and effectively closed a case that had been a year long nightmare in less then 2 months time. I appreciate Kindel's compassion and knowledge, and Kathy's direct, yet informative input! The rest of the staff was very courtesous and professional keeping everything timely and organized. Kathy Ongert, classic shyster, put the cow in coward.

If I could give this place half a star or less, I would. I came to this firm with a child custody case desperate for help. Initially, I met with one of the lawyers (neither Kreiger nor Ongert) who was very kind. Gave me a great feeling and I went ahead and hired him thinking he was going to help me. That was the last time I spoke to him. Mrs. Ongert soon took over the case. I filled out every single bit of information ad provided a copy of every document requested to them. Nothing. She is very good at replying to your emails and thats about all I can say. I never met her nor ever received a phone call. Every question that I had regarding my case or the time line, she would brush off my question and advise me to have patience. My child is only a couple of months old and when I mentioned that I read children under a certain age could not stay over night with the other parent on weekends unless the custodial parent agreed, she replied, "I don't know where you get your legal information from but you are wrong". My child's father has never wanted anything to do with him but Mrs. Ongert insisted I make an attempt at having them "bond". Against my better judgement, I listened and went to his home so that he could bond with his son. This was the WORST decision I could've made. My child's father went on to twist our conversation and made a mess of the meeting. Mrs. Ongert questioned me in a very condescending manner and thats when I knew this was the worst decision I could've made. $5,000 wasted.

When I hired my new lawyer, things got rolling so quickly, I could not believe it. He never made me feel as if I was being judged and ultimately handled everything for me the right way. He insisted on face to face meetings or phone calls which made me feel very secure. Mrs. Ongert sat on the case for much longer than necessary. Nothing was being done except email exchanges.

would give a lower rating if possible. I wish I had read reviews on her before my mediation with her practice. She failed to protect me in fact she put me in the way of harm by telling me to have repairs made and charge to a community credit card. Not only did she do that she then failed to include in the settlement. Only good thing is I have in emails between myself and my attorney and notarized affidavit that I was told to do this. As I am now being sued by the other party for following her directive to do so.When I called and asked about this was given the run around for several months by her office. Finally she called and said I do not recall doing so when I told her I had witness who agrees and emails stating that she said conversation was over I would be very careful using this mediator there are many others out there that have better reputations and hopefully better memories if you are going to ok an expense you should make sure you have the authority to do so and that if you do not what you are recommending does not have legal ramifications on someone else who is relying on you and your firms work and paid hundreds of dollars for it .

Dan Krieger Is An Awesome lawyer. No problem getting ahold of him, answered all my questions and a bonus got my case dismissed. Highly recommended

From what I see this Kathy lady has a lot of good reviews representing people in their family and divorce legal matter. My rating is not toward her representation but as a mediator. She might be a wonderful attorney and I say that because of the great reviewers who have commented on their personal experience with her. I personally, am not fond of this woman.

A mediator MAIN purpose is to assist the TWO parties in trying to come to an agreement or work through any issues that exist between them and be a NEUTRAL third party at that. This lady was just the opposite of a true mediator. First off, I am only going to state facts not opinions. She kept throwing insulting rocks at us every time we discussed any issues. I know Kathy was trying to get under our skin by trying to insult us but all we did was just laughed on how a lady that knows NOTHING about the situation assumes each person's ways and life by taking the others party word (it was obvious she was buddies with the opposing counsel). As soon as we started the mediation she had already had an "agreement" to present to us. The other party was already there way before us and they had time to talk. Overall, I think that says a lot about her character because if you care about your job and love what you do you will be the same person in every aspect of the legal field whether you are a mediator or representing clients, the whole idea is the same thing.

Excellent lawyer for divorce and custody issues. All questions were answered and all work was handled promptly. I would definitely utilize her services again for any family law related issues and would highly recommend her to others.

If Mrs. Ongert was half as good as she thought of herself, we might have done better in our mediation. She misled us and refused to take responsibility when she was in the wrong. It cost us several thousand dollars which she could care less about. She even gave us a lower rate because it was Veterans Day, and my husband is in the military. After confronting her about her mistake, she said she should have never given us the lower rate. Guess the Great Kathy Ongert has never been questioned. How she sleeps at night we will never know. Instead of patting herself on the back so much, she needs to focus more on her clients and giving their case the care and attention it deserves. We have tried to tell everyone we know about her. We have had at least 2 friends stop going to her, and we hope there are more we can convince.

As a criminal defense attorney, I have had the opportunity to meet hundreds of family law lawyers, during my career. Hands down, Kathy, is on the top of my list. I would sincerely recommend, that if you have a family law matter or concern, that you pick up the phone and call her today.
