I heard Shawn was the best lawyer in town. The "good'ole boy system" is alive and well in Boerne apparently...

He met with me once to discuss the initial case, then met with me the day of the plea outside of the courtroom and told me there was nothing he could do and to just plead no contest. He left me sitting there confused while he made his rounds shaking hands and laughing with the other attorneys/prosecutors.

After the case was over, I was expecting him to come over and shake my hand, wish me luck and thank me for hiring him, but he just walked right past me as if I didn't exist; didn't acknowledge me or make eye-contact or anything.

$3500 down the drain... Save yourself the money and go with a public-defender.
