Professional, knowledgeable, aggressive, informative....everything you could ask for when in a situation the requires an attorney. Well worth the money spent for much desired results. He did his job as an attorney and kept me calm in the process. Could not have expected anything better than the service Larry provided.

My lawyer & my husband had recently passed away prior to retaining Mr. Bloomquist. I was guilty of violating a 2 yr deferred adjudication. 1 month prior to the end of my probation, I did not show up because I was afraid of my probation officer whom had me arrested 2 times after being hospitalized, I wasn't going for the 3rd & no husband to get me out. I was unaware I could have asked for a new probation officer. I learned all this & much more while I was in prison by a true caring teacher whom I eventually opened up to after a long time keeping to myself, bottling up a lot of frustration & anger! 7 yrs from the day I did not go to probation, it caught up with me. My family hired Mr. Bloomquist & he came to see me in county jail. After we talked about my situation he said not to worry, everything will be ok & I am going to get you out of here.I had believed him & especially so after others whom were criminals, said I would not have to do any time, more probation at most. Never heard from him again, until court in which he then gave me the option of 2 yrs State Jail to satisfy the 2 yrs probation or what the DA offered him which was a reduced time with TDC if I plead guilty to evading arrest, which could not have been proven (lawyer said prior) & serve 18 months. Shocked, I said no, I would rather go before the judge & take my chances. If I am going to prison for 18 months in lieu of 2 years, I might as well take my chances with the judge & hope for leniency due to my situation. I just knew I did not deserve this & something was wrong about this. I had no clue what so ever that I might go to prison! My father & brother just stood there in shock & didn't say anything. I just kept saying no, I will go before the judge. Finally Mr. Bloomquist spoke up & said he would go talk to the DA again. He came back after a short time with another offer of 12 months. I still said no & after convincing me that it was a good deal & with no prior history & good behavior I was looking at maybe 6 months time & I would be out on parole. WOW, a lot to take in with only a few minutes before I go before the judge. I know now, I made the wrong decision & chose the 12 months & hoped 6 months would go fast. I was out on bond for 3 weeks prior to sentencing & just could not believe this was happening to me. I was numb.I went to prison, 50+ yrs old I worked everyday in there to pass time, took every class that I could, never got in trouble & stayed there for 18 months, not 12 months, not 6 months, 18 months before I was paroled out! My parole officer couldn't even believe I went to prison. It was hell, if there is one. I have been off parole over 2 years now & out of prison over 4 yrs & I am just posting this because of the effects this has brought on my life, I feel like I need to share my experience & hope by doing so it may help others who are ignorant to the system & stay on top of your lawyer.

I first consulted with Mr. Bloomquist in December 2012 concerning a felony allegation that was made against me. Mr. Bloomquist took the time to explain the entire legal proceedings and answered every question that I had thoroughly which prompted me to hire him immediately. After two and a half years after the false allegation was made and with three different law enforcement agencies pursuing an arrest, I was indicted on a felony crime within Bexar county in June of 2015. During the next 26 months of uncertainty, Mr. Bloomquist aggressively attacked and challenged the state's evidence and even scared off two to the top prosecutors within the district attorneys office on taking this case to a jury trial. After months of hard work and an extensive knowledge of the law, the state dismissed their case against me after I had rejected their third plea deal attempt three days before we were set for trial! Besides his extensive knowledge of Criminal Law, Mr. Bloomquist was available to me when I needed him the most and assured me that he would do everything possible to make this nightmare go away. Thanks again Larry for a job well done!

Attorney Larry Bloomquist , I found him by chance online at my lowest point. Not knowing where to turn , and as difficult is was for me to leave my life in someone else's hands I hired Bloomquist . That was the best choice I have ever made . He had brought calmness back into the worst time for my husband and I . Always compassionate , and understanding of our situation he gave use the best of him . As business owners we had no time to waste . Mr Bloomquist was on the case and took care of things quickly. What seemed like eternity to us at the time was only a couple weeks , with his preparation and determination he was able to get my husbands case DISMISSED. When you find yourself at your lowest point in life its always hard to leave your future in someone elses hands. Do not hesitate to hire Mr Bloomquist , He is a very trusting person who will work hard for you no matter what . Thank You Mr Bloomquist , for everything . Keep up the good work . ((Trust him he's worth it))
