So in summary, due to Mr Hancock's excellent and hard work, professionalism, ethics, compassionate care, and legal guidance, I went from facing the possibility of 20 years in prison to 4 years of Deferred Adjudication with the dismissal of the case at the conclusion of the 4 years. I now have 2 years and 11 months remaining and am starting to piece my life back together. And although it has been over 1 year since my court hearing, I still remain in contact with Mr Hancock. Patrick continues to demonstrate that he cares for me and my life as an individual and in my opinion, although he is quintessentially a true professional, he is also a dear friend.
