Some of the best lawyers I've ever encountered! Jeremy handled my disability case and he was excellent! Very professional, always there when I had a question (which was often) and in a very timely manner. I had been working on my case by myself and was getting denied, but when he took over he got all the evidence needed to prove I was entitled to be approved. We went to court and he did an amazing job talking to the judge for me. I barely had to even speak. I was so nervous before hand and he did a good job at calming me down. Even after I was awarded my disability he was available for any and all inquiries I had. Their team was amazing at getting all the stuff needed to win after a very long road! I refer anyone needing assistance with their disability case to them! And their fees are very fair and reasonable.

My disability first affected my ability to work full time in 2009; at which time I went from full to part time.  By the end of 2009 I was unable to work on a consistent basis.  Several years had passed before I consider applying for SSD (for many reasons, not the least of which was I didn’t see myself as disabled or just stubborn I suppose).  Anyway, I finally decided to apply in 2015 while living in Omaha Nebraska.  I signed on w/ an attorney (at C******n Law) & after reviewing my medical records he chose to accept my case.  That being said, I was denied (x2) during the administrative portion of the application process.  In 2017, I moved to Tucson AZ where my case was transferred . . . though I had to seek representation.  Initially, I approached a Law Firm (A** G*** Law) here in Tucson; however, after reviewing my records they declined to accept my case.  They didn’t even interview me; simply made the decision based upon my medical records.  Consequently, I went to my first hearing w/out representation (which was clearly not a good choice).  After starting the hearing, the judge inquired regarding my lack of representation . . . to which I expressed the above thoughts.  The judge then discontinued the hearing & suggested that I head out & find representation.  (((I did and I did))).  

This is where Mr. Jeremy Killpack comes into my life.  I gave him the same records that I gave the G*** Law firm; however, Mr. Killpack met w/ me to review my case.  Now I do realize that the first part of my story is pretty typical (meaning many; if not most) applicants receive an administrative denial (or two) . . . but that is not the case w/ the G*** Law firm.  

Additionally, there was a dramatic difference between Mr. Killpack’s interactive style. . . (where he was compassionate & left you feeling like he understood you and appreciated you sharing your story) -vs- the other two law offices.  This was absolutely not the case w/ the other two attorney offices [to them I felt like just another case (to be won or lost) & this is not what someone wants to feel when they’re sharing their story].  In Mr. Killpack’s case, he appeared genuinely interested in my story & clearly he was able to successfully represent me as I was granted disability after returning to court w/ representation.  

I don’t have a great deal of experience w/ attorneys; however, three is enough for  me to say that I’d recommend Mr. Killpack in a heart beat . . . Historically speaking, I worked as a mental health provider; so, I’m familiar w/ what makes ‘good interpersonal communication skills’ . . . & I think Mr. Killpack has an outstanding ability to communicate empathy to his clients AND be successful in the court room . . . what more can someone want in an attorney.

This firm was not the right fit for me. I worked briefly here during a very stressful period of transition in my life (bar prep and during a death in the family). Additionally, my heart was not in this work. I am an artist, having performed professionally with Broadway stars and received the award of Brigham Young University Singer of the Year. That said, this firm does great work. I believe their product to be important to society. Just because I didn't fit in here doesn't mean I don't have legal skills. I have worked for judges, been a Board President, and even interned at a state capitol. This particular firm simply wasn't the right fit, and I'm glad it wasn't...because now I am a prominent fine arts educator (I have been for the past year). That said, H&K did lose a potentially valuable team member. But I hope they are doing well.

Went with someone else who was seeking assistance with an issue and had to wait in the lobby for about 30 minutes or so. No big deal thats what i was expecting but what i was not expecting was for the front desk employees to yap the entire time. Mostly comparing who can cook better but what irritated me and why i wont use their services is every client they hung up with they slammed or every case file that was mentioned they had nothing but bad things to say. These are people they are supposed to represent and instead they are bashing them behind there backs. Once they called a client who said it was a bad time to talk and as soon as the phone hung up the lady turned to her coworker and said "it wasnt a good time to talk, so ill just put that on their ss packet. Not a good time to talk and see where that gets them" How incredibly rude that really made me mad!
