Doesn't even call you back to let you know if she can take your case or not

Attorney Nora Staum is absolutely sincere caring and excellent at her work . She helped me obtain my SSDI benefits and guided me through the process. She dedicates herself to her clients and to her career as a honest hard working ethical attorney.. Many of us are blessed she was there for us when we needed help and so thankful for all she did for me and so many others .. It is a great honor to know her and have her represent me.. Wow! I just called this office to try to get some information regarding my husbands injury. He applied for disability and was denied and we were looking into options for filing an appeal or filing a law suit against the home owners insurance. Before being able to even give my husbands information, I was told quote “they ain’t gone give you nothing for his broken leg” mind you my husband has a hand injury/finger amputation never said anything about a broken leg. If I could give 0 starts I would. Just by speaking to this person I decided to hang up the phone and not share any more information with her nd I am no longer interested in having a consult with this law firm. Please train your workers better especially the ones that answer the phones because they are the face of your office!!!

The most efficient and professional person and practice I’ve ever come in contact with. Nora Staum never returns email messages, phone calls, never speaks to you on the phone.
She isn't a human being and could careless about your disability issues with plenty on evidence to prove that I was disabled.
Nora Staum is strictly for herself and her office people.
Nora Staum is a true DOG, SUCKS, and she know it.
I would never, ever recommend her to anyone including the DEAD.
She isn't worthy of stars.

Worked with her office very efficiently at first but then they dropped off the face of the planet for about a year (I'm over 2 years into my filing and have a court hearing in a month), and then they reconnected with me only to tell me that they were withdrawing from my case. This office doesn't care about your well being, they care about the money and if your case can win it for them. I was told my case would be difficult to win and good luck with it. I received things in the mail that I had given to them to send in to the government and they did NOT send it in, now I'm several months late in returning the information to the government. Horrible experience, do NOT hire her.

Don't trust the AVVO reviews since she bribes her clients to give her a positive review so that the client can get their Medical Records. I can tell you one thing for sure, she doesn't care about you. Her assistants don't care for you either. They do everything to not have to talk to you and forces the poor receptionist to answer questions and calls that they're supposed to be taking. Trust me, I would know. Natalie treats her clients poorly and has an attitude problem. She will refuse to take your call and makes the receptionist answer all you questions. Also, you will not hear from Nora staum until your court date or if she calls you. Of course there are a few that had good things to say, but from personal experience I know they don't give a damn about anyone of them. I would never recommended them to anyone not in a million years. Ive seen them treat one of their own like pure trash. If they treat clients poorly, imagine one of their own. I'd give this awful little Pit of hell 0 stars if I could.

They were unprepared at court and I was denied because of it. completely unhelpful and unreliable.

What ever you do ...DO NOT hire this attorney. Three years of my life was wasted with her. After years of documented medical problems, from seizures to lower back injuries and major mental trauma. All verified by doctors from both sides. All she did was ask one question at the hearing to me, Why do you feel you are disabled. This was a question she had documents in her files in front of her face. She could have explained all this to the judge hearing the case instead of letting me answer the question. They know how to speak in law terms not the client. This is why we hire them. This is all she did. No questions at all for the cross examination of the social security representative. She did absolutely nothing to win my case.
Of course I lost. How can anyone win when your lawyer asked only one question. The decision had multiple errors on it which I pointed out. It was almost like it was someone else they reviewed. At the end, she made me wait another three months to she will not be moving forward with my case.
This woman is just playing the numbers. The more cases she takes she is eventually going to win a few here and there. Anyway, Please don't fall for Nora Staum, there are many other lawyers out there that will do a much better job.

Did next to nothing for my case other than gather reports. Did not file appeal in a timely manner. Since replaced her, much happier now! I do NOT recommend Nora Staum
