I initially hired an attorney in St Lucie County to defend my case. I was advised by others to meet with and possibly hire a more prominent attorney in Palm Beach County for better representation. After a lengthy consultation with Robert Pasch, we discussed how he would work hard to defend me. I agreed to hire Mr. Pasch, even though his rates were six times more than my original attorney, because it was important to me to have proper representation and an aggressive attorney on my case. After retaining Mr. Pasch, whenever I contacted his office, it always seemed that he was too heavily involved in other cases and was not preparing for mine. I do not feel he took sufficient time to look into the case evidence and did not request any depositions related to my case as he led me to believe he would. Even after 9 months of continuances, he did not seem to prepare for my case until about 30 days before my court date. At that time, he had prepared a suppression of warrant, advising me of the risks, but by then it was too late. In total, I believe Mr. Pasch spent less than 12 hours on my case and considering the amount I paid, this was very disappointing. The final outcome of my case was the original outcome the local, substantially less expensive attorney initially expected. I would highly recommend that you understand what an attorney will do for you and how much time an attorney will spend on your case versus the amount of money you pay for these services.
