I called to try to establish a relationship with a Florida attorney to help settle the estate of my brother, who owned some land there. I tried to ask some initial questions like "where do I begin...". I was quickly shut down and told that they do not offer free legal advice and that I would need to pay $385 per hour if I wanted to discuss anything with them.
I can tell you that I am definitely NOT looking for free legal advice. I am, however, looking to establish a relationship with an attorney during a difficult time. I just wanted to learn what my first steps should be with the full expectation of hiring a competent attorney to help lead the way.
I have never come across an attorney that wanted to charge me to simply have an initial conversation. I cannot speak to much to the overall competency of Ms. Pizzolato. But, I can say this... bring your wallet.
Keep on doing the super good job.
Thanks A & M
We would highly recommend Barbara Pizzolato ... and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship.
Our next step was to meet with Barbara to review our next steps. This meeting was packed with information essential to our assembling of needed documents. Barbara was very focused and guided us through this with patience and understanding
This meeting gave us direction and guidance in making major decisions as we moved forward with our family trust. We felt well informed, understood and prepared for assembling all elements of our trust. Now we have our trust, our assets are protected, and all of our important documents are organized. We also appreciate knowing that as we make changes with our assets we can meet with Barbara as well as members of her staff as needed. We recommend this service for all who want to protect their hard earned assets.
I highly recommend her to anyone that is sitting on the fence knowing that you should start doing something about what you would like to happen after you are gone. The peace of mind alone is worth checking her out.
She made our estate planning as easy as something like that can be. None of us likes to think about our passing so it is easier to just not do anything and hope it will all work out. Sorry to say, it doesn't work that way.
As you can tell, I like her and her staff is top notch, but more than anything I trust her and that is something you want and need in an attorney.
