With financial trouble and being in a pickle I needed help FAST, I made 5-6 calls around and they got me in the same day! No one was able to do that. Be very careful with this lawyer. Make sure he can handle what you give him. In this day in age it’s very easy to say yeah sure we can do that for $$$$$ and easily back out. Practicing law without a basic knowledge of the Florida's law. It cost me $19,000.00 because he had no idea about Florida's "Homesteading" law. Couple of weeks ago he called me that "we won" and the money is under way. Today(07/14/17) called me that the person hired an attorney and ready to counter sue us because in Florida you can't put a lien on the house. It took Mr. Lehn 6 years to learn about that law. He never followed up on the case. I had to let him know from Illinois that the person I was suing died and the house (about 5 miles from Mr. Lehn's office) was for sale. Some of my friends from Florida start doing business with Mr. Lehn and are very unsatisfied with his service. I've made a very gig mistake by hiring Mr. Lehn.

I called around and this guy is the most expensive attorney I found. I was looking for medicaid planning and I wanted an elder law lawyer. This guy is actually a bankruptcy attorney and not an elder law attorney. So, why would I go to him anyway? He is not a board certified elder law attorney and he does this type of thing on the side. You have only one opportunity to do medicaid planning right. You don't want someone who happens to do this and you will be his test case. My recommendation is to find a true elder law attorney to do medicaid planning and not a jack of all trades.
