Completely unprofessional.

Didn't even get to finish explaining why I needed them to represent me and flat out said I we can't help you with this, unbelievable .

After an unfortunate slip and fall, I hired Marcus Fernandez of the Tampa firm Kinney Fernandez and Boire to represent me. Mr. Fernandez came highly recommended and he is the attorney you want working on your case. He was diligent, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent negotiator that kept me informed at all stages of my case.

I feel Marcus Fernandez protected my rights as a client gave me reliable feedback and included me in all decisions. Additionally, the staff at Kinney Fernandez & Boire were professional while still exhibiting warmth and attentiveness to me as a client.

Rob has helped members of my family with their auto-accident cases in the past. They had nothing but good things to say about him. When I was rear ended while driving to work, I did not hesitate to seek him out for my case, as well. I knew that my case would have been an up-hill battle had I gone it alone because this was not my first rear-end collision and because this new accident exacerbated my existing injuries, and it would have been difficult to show that my new injuries were not from my prior accident.
Rob was kind and professional, and he took the time to answer all my questions. He walked me through what the process would be like and helped me to come to my own conclusion on how I wanted to proceed with my case. He was very ethical in that he did not try to tell me which doctors I should choose nor how I should go about seeking care. He told me that my first priority is to focus on receiving the care that I need for my injuries and that he would handle the legal challenges presented in my case. His advice was very reassuring and helped take away a lot of the stress involved with an auto-accident case.
Him and his paralegals were very responsive and always kept me apprised of the status of my case. They told me what PIP compensation I would be eligible for (like miles traveled, time off work, etc.) and provided me with ledgers to keep track of this information. They made sure that everything was handled with the repair of my vehicle and with obtaining a rental car.
When the insurance company made their first offer, it was so small that it was an insult. I told Rob that I would not accept that amount and that I wanted to proceed with filing suit. Rob explained to me what that would look like and what I can expect. Filing suit—as opposed to accepting their first offer—comes with challenges and risks, and Rob made sure I understood what those are. After considering the possibilities, I decided to proceed with the lawsuit.
After I reached maximum medical improvement, I was scheduled to have my first deposition. Because I had never been deposed before, I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. Again, him and his staff explained what the deposition would be like, they sent me copies of all my paperwork and charts, and they told me what preparations I should make beforehand. When I arrived at the deposition, Rob was there, and he again calmed my nerves and explained the rules of the process and told me what kind of questions I should expect.
Finally, mediation came. And once again, I was confident and prepared for this step. At no time did I feel as though I was left in the dark. Rob has so much experience in auto-accident cases and it showed. I was amazed at how he was able to negotiate the highest amount the insurance company could offer. When it was all done, they offered me more than 3 times what they offered the first time! It was even more than what I had hoped for. I cannot say how much I was pleased with the results. I also cannot say enough about what a great attorney he is, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the same situation.

After fighting with the at faults attorney for a year I decided to hire an attorny. I was referred to KFB by a good friend of mine. Poor initial call, made no attempt to be helpful whatsoever. Appears as though they are only helpful when limbs or appendages are dangling. Knowledge at auto accidents was rudimentary at best. Would rather splint my own wrist than go through another conversation with 'George Almond'. Avoid at all costs.

Recently, my daughter was in a car accident. It was the scariest thing for our family. She was hurt, but thank God not too, too bad. Someone ran a red light and crashed into the side of her car. It really did a lot of damage, and we had never been through anything like that before, so we didn't really know what to do.

I did an online search for an attorney. There are so many out there and I just really didn't know who to pick so I called around and spoke to a couple of offices. Everyone was friendly enough, but the staff at Kinney, Fernandez and Boire really stood out. They put me right in contact with an actual attorney. I was pleased that I got to speak with him quickly and it seemed he had genuine concern. He came to our home and visited with the whole family since my daughter wasn't really feeling up to getting out just yet. It was really helpful to have him come to us with her in the condition she was in at the time. We knew time was of the essence and we also knew that getting the facts recorded by someone on our side while they were still fresh in her mind was also important.

The visit was both pleasant and informative. Manny really gave us great advice and counsel with a real "human touch". At first I was leery of attorneys, never having dealt with one before, I thought he may be condescending or a little self-serving in the advice he gave us. Nothing was further from the truth! He was professional and polite and really had our best interest at heart. I could tell right away that he had plenty of experience to handle our case.

Of course, the insurance companies wanted to go back and forth and drag the whole thing out, but Manny and his staff were consistently on top of things and they stayed on the insurance companies until we got the settlement that was fair.

When the accident first happened, my husband and I were very worried about how we would replace my daughter's car. She is a student and works, so it was important that she not be without transportation. We recovered damages to pay for medical expenses, pain and suffering for my daughter and for the car repairs too.

While the accident wasn't an easy thing to go through, but this office really made it a lot less painful than I ever could have imagined. I just wanted to take the time to thank Mr. Fernandez and everyone at the office for all of the help.

I know this is a pretty long review, but I really wanted to share my story to let people know that not all attorneys are the same. They seem to have a personal touch - not a corporation feel, and the results, well they were just outstanding!

If you ask me, the firm is just right. Not too big so that no one in the office can remember your name, and not so small where it may seem like you could have gotten something more if you went to a bigger firm. Hopefully we will not need another accident attorney in the future, but if we do, we will certainly use them again AND I would definitely recommend them to everyone else out there.
