I wish I could give zero stars but I can not. Absolutely the worst law firm ever. The Paralegal for Robert Samartan has ZERO customer service skills. She is rude and dismissive. They called and called to retain my case in 2017, and they don't respond to text or emails and when I decide to let them go that's when they want to give an update. I fired them in August of 2018 and I have been contacting them for a letter confirming that they are no longer working on my case so that I can finalize my settlement and since August of 2018 my call, voice messages, emails and mails and have gone unanswered. I spoke to the Paralegal again today and it was not until I threatened legal actions and a report to the Bar Association that responded. IT IS NOT A THREAT IF I DO NOT GET A LETTER THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER MY ATTORNEY AND AN INVOICE, I AM SUBMITTING THE COMPLAINT TO THE FLORIDA BAR ASSOCIATION.

After contacting Catania & Catania, I was set up with a doctor, and was able to start physical therapy. I was even able to find a clinic within minutes away from my home, made therapies much easier. Thanks Mary Jones and the team of Catania & Catania.

The worst!! My husband was in a really bad accident and we were referred to them. What a headache! After answering the same questions a million times & never calling me back they dropped his case without even telling him. They lied and told me things they couldnt and wouldn't do. After 2 lumbar surgeries from 2 different doctors I have the same symptoms. Low back pain that increases to severe and my right leg muscles seize up. MRI shows a crushed nerve and pinched nerve. Neither doctor fixed that. Catania and Catania say it's up to me to prove that the problem is permanent. Isn't that the job of an attorney. I've had 3rd and 4th surgeon say don't do another surgery. Looks like I'm screwed

I was involved in a major car accident where someone had ran a stop sign and totaled my vehicle. I was severely injured and rushed to the hospital. I found out that I had seven bulged disks in my spine, one herniated disk, and decided to ask Catania & Catania for help. They were prompt to send someone over for me to sign paperwork locking them in as my lawyer on this matter. However, after three years of not knowing the details of my case, having horrible contact and unclear direction on where things were going, or even remembering my name... Lisa Keeler and Catania & Catania never did me any justice. I got a settlement of $5,000 and my life will never be the same. Do not hire them because they only want to lock you into paying them and do as little as possible to actually earn their cut. They don't care about quality service or what happens to you, only massive numbers of people required in writing to pay them their 33% of whatever they feel is an easier amount of payment for them to steal.

We hired them for my daughter's auto accident and they were great! Awesome customer service, friendly staff, great referrals, and we settled fairly quickly. Thanks Catania & Catania!

I initially retained a big named law firm that is always on tv and radio for my auto accident. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I was treated like a number and the experience was depressing. My father in-law referred me to Catania and Catania and WOW, what a difference. Kelvis Askiew is my point of contact also the paralegal in my ongoing case. His professionalism is top notch and he made me feel that I am in good hands with this firm. He immediately set my appointment for my physical therapy and handled all of the admin. This allowed me to concentrate on recovering from my injuries. Kelvis have taken all of my calls, answered all of my questions and emails me of new updates. Hard to find the attorney parking around the building but once you do at least you can park for free.

I was recommended by several different people to attorney Catania and Catania and continue to hear how wonderful their services are however I myself do not know I cannot get them to give me time of day not even a referral to an attorney that would be interested and not only Medicare and Medicaid fraud The Quest Diagnostics stealing multiple persons DNA I don't understand why they do not see fit to return phone calls and at least give the courtesy of a referral to another attorney capable of handling the case. I would have not known has them at all had it not been for multiple referrals of others it's a shame that they would not give anyone else the same courtesy it is also more so ashamed that I am not worth the time I could have been a future client had somebody just taking a moment to return my phone call it saddens me I've heard nothing but wonderful things I'm just sorry I will not be able to experience any of that myself

I have sat in a lot of courtrooms and watched court proceedings from the Scarsdale diet doctor in the 80s until present time. I have even sat through military court proceedings from murder to drug traffickers. I also have a legal degree. No I’m not an Attorney. But, I have a good idea how things work in a courthouse.
My attorney for social Security disability benefits was so unprepared for what happened in court the judge had her shaking! She was fumbling through paperwork tongue tied on every question the judge asked. The judge, I am convinced the judge has it in for veterans! She thinks it’s like double dipping if a veterans to get both VA benefits and disability benefits from Social Security, so she constantly denies close to 70% of anybody that comes before her! But my attorney was NOT ready for what happened in court. And she is the only social Security Attorney at Catania & Catania! She tried to prepared herself for court the night before and day of when she had all my information and medical records for over one year. I think she was overwhelmed by the amount of medical documentation I submitted to her! Some attorneys would love to have all that proof to show the judge. She did not use a mountain of evidence I submitted to her over our time together! My case was also delayed because she blocked out a leave time to get married! The only reason my case went before the judge sooner than later was because I called the court house and they said “ its not us its your lawyer who blocked out two months that she would not be available. I later found out that it was her wedding leave. So, I called and spoke to Peter C, I guess he fixed the situation and I had a court date within 90 days. All the attorneys mislead me during this process. I thought they were working on the case! And if they were why was I asked questions about surgeries 20 minutes before we saw the judge. After my case was denied by the Tampa judge it went to The Virginia court of appeals and again it was denied. During this time I lowered my rating for Catania & Catania to one star and I got several email from my attorney and the paralegal, saying if your not happy with my services your free to go seek other representation. And she said this before the appeal to Virginia Court of Appeals. So, my attorney and her paralegal prompted my wife to change my rating back to five stars. So, my wife change the rating back to five stars! I changed it back to one star to show my discontent with unprepared bumbling attorneys at this firm! If your Social Security case needs an attorney I would look elsewhere. This is the most unprofessional law firm I’ve ever had the unpleasure of knowing! When attorneys have a case and you’re unhappy with them during appeal you are stuck, it would be more difficult to get a new attorney at that point. As soon as it was out of her hands we elected to use a different attorney also because they do not go to federal court. The funny thing is the day we walked out of court in Tampa I told her we lost!I knew the process in that court room better than she did! You have to have an instinct that guides you to making better choices. And prior to the appeals in the Virginia Court of Appeals I told her we lost because of her wording and we lost! So, she knew all along we were going to lose because I actually told her we were going to lose! If the client knows that they are going to lose it’s because of the poor job the attorney did! I did fine out from other attorneys that know this judge and they said she is the worst judge to get assigned too. The attorney should have a better understanding of the laws and how they work!
Last thing was all the other attorneys I spoke to about this case, they said if she was the type of person that was intimidated she would have never beat the judge. it was like putting a pitbull in with a Chihuahua and I’m not talking about a pitbull that scared of a Chihuahua I’m talking about a pitbull that would swallow Chihuahua!

I would definitely recommend this firm to others working for their disability. They really were very instrumental in a favourable outcome. The staff especially Amanda she is Desiree Zarnow's legal Assistant, she was very supportive and she really went the extra mile to showe I mattered, I was not just a case file.
