Mr. Miller was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. I got caught up with some dumb charges regarding being drunk in the Village, and googled defense lawyers in Sarasota and The Miller Law Firm came up as one of the most reviewed / highest rated in the area. Needless to say, I went ahead and gave them a call and was taken care of very quickly. His assitant Holly was very nice and a good communicator. It took less than 30 minutes for her to have Mr. Miller call me and discuss my case a bit. He put me at ease right away, and I quickly felt he was the man for my case. I was able to pay over the phone and they emailed me the documents I needed to sign in order for him to become my legal representation. I was able to sign them immediately using my phone and then forward them back to The Miller Law Firm. I had never been in trouble with the law so I was dreading going to court etc, but he was able to go to court on my behalf for the first date. By the second date, he had made a deal with the District Attorney and got me enrolled in a Diversion Program (which means that I have to finish a certain amount of community service, write an apology letter to the Police Officer, pay a small fine, and also take Alcohol Tests at the probation office once a month). Once I am done with all of these requirements my charges are completely wipped off my record, so I will have a completely clean record just as if these events never happened! I am more than pleased with the outcome, and feel that his price is very reasonable in order to have proper legal representation! If you are in trouble with the law you don't want to be cheap. I was involved in an accident earlier this fall where there were no witnesses save myself and the other driver. Despite this, the deputy who came to the scene told me "My boss requires I give someone a ticket". Huh? I really regret calling that deputy! A friend referred me to The Miller Law Firm. Scott was up front and honest telling me "In this case you really don't need me because the Judge will have no choice but to dismiss the ticket since there were no witnesses". Be that as it may, this is not something I'm familiar with (traffic court) and so it was worth it to me to retain Scott to represent me. He/his office took care of everything, I just had to show up on the appointed day and time. He was professional and polite to all involved and we were successful in getting the ticket dismissed. I really don't want to be a defendant ever again, but if I were, I'd have no hesitation in retaining The Miller Law Firm, and I'd recommend them to others needing excellent representation.
