Cristen and her team are doing a great job for us at Bridgewater Commercial. She can turn things around quickly and is able to effectively communicate to her clients. She has a common sense approach that makes you feel at ease.

I asked them to review LLC / joint venture (JV) paperwork I had already used many times in other states and make it so I could have it secured against a property in Florida via Memo of Agreement, where I was using both sets of paperwork for the first time.

It looked like they just took the names and numbers from my JV paperwork and tried to insert that information into their 'boilerplate' JV and Memo of Agreements. Unfortunately, their JV paperwork and Memo of Agreement was structured totally different than what I gave them, which changed the agreement between the venturors so much that it missed the point of what it was trying to accomplish from the beginning.

Not only that, they didn't even 'copy and paste' the names correctly. They had a name of the person in the JV paperwork that I didn't even know that was going to be a 50% venturor!!

Also, the amount of money being invested was different in JV paperwork and the Memo of Agreement.

The documents were so far 'off' from what the intention was that I couldn't even use them and I felt they couldn't be edited to be corrected. They charged me $1250 for their work that in my estimation should have taken an attorney (or assistant) no more than 2-3 hours total. I asked for some kind of discount b/c I didn't even use what they sent me (and I thought the amount was high to begin with). $50 off was offered.

On the positive side, their attempt to complete the work was done quickly, which is why I gave them a 2 star rating vs a 1 star rating. So at least I had time to scramble to find another way to get what I was trying to accomplish done.

Martinez Law, PA is the most professional law firm I've delt with in a While. I called recently needing some legal advice, (Obviously). Anyway, I was treated really nice and was given more info then I actually needed! So for a firm to go out their way like that, really let's me know there's still genuine people out there. Not sure the reason for the negative review, but I guess you can't please all humans. :)

Miss Martinez has to be the must unprofessional Attorney I’ve ever dealt with. My sister used her services a couple of years ago and recommended her to me. My sister literally notified her that I would be reaching out to her. I had some questions regarding renters rights. I called Miss Martinez on Monday the 7th of October on her cell phone. I left a message and never received a returned phone call. I called her back and left a message every morning through to that Friday and never heard back from her. That’s 5 messages. Also the office didn’t return my calls or emails. Granted she took the fees she charged me sister quickly but is too incompetent to return a phone call. I reached out to another law firm that actually gave me a consult over the phone for a fare fee. They answered my questions within a few minutes. This firm however is pathetic and her behavior towards a potential client is no better. Don’t waste your time with this group...

I've emailed Martinez Law a few times with contract law questions or real estate law questions and they always get back to me and in a timely manner. The law firm is always hosting seminars and events for agents in the Tampa Bay area.

Cristen was fast to respond and informative her expertise shining thru even when just talking in the phone. having her in your side is an A+ .
