I would recommend Mrs. Sparkman to a parent who is seeking for the best interest of his child. She was available to hear me everyday and feel my pain. She represented me in the best possible way. I m together with my son due to her effort. My son and i will always remember Mrs Sparkman and pray for her and her family. Efficient, Affordable, very smart and honest.

All of these reviews are fake and supported through her peers which I'm sure is some sort of ethics violations as a lawyer. But, no need of complaining to the bar... They are just as useless! Do a little homework and come to your own conclusion.

My name is Tanya McVeigh. I was at the end of my divorce case in Dec 2018, working with a prior attorney who was robbing me blind, as well as working with opposing council to Railroad me into settling for basically pennies. He never filed one motion for me in 9 months and allowed the opposing council to have the courts to think I wasn’t complying with discovery requests. I was scared, angry and knew I was in trouble. I said a prayer and opened the computer looking for my last second warrior to fight a battle the other side thought they had already won. Shazia stepped into a chaotic tangled nitemare of not only a divorce case, but one involving my rights as a co owner of our marital business being challenged. I was not only fighting a bipolar sociopath husband, but his equally underhanded attorney, and Shazia has fought battles with me the other side never expected. It’s not over, we are still in the fight, but at least now it is a fight. I have a warrior going to battle, and we are being heard in the courts. She will even contact me into the late night hour to check on me, and answer my questions. Her staff Ivett and Yosi have always been professional, courteous and have even given hugs when I needed. In the end of a divorce by trial, I t’s the judges call, and no one can predict what he or she will rule. While I don’t know those people who posted, I do know that my experience is and has been nothing but phenomenal with Sparkman Law, the assistant Ivett Macles and lead attorney Shazia Sparkman. I have not come across a team that is so dedicated, passionate and smart in the most trying and emotionally exhausting of situations. They are not like other lawyers. The reason my husband and I were instantly ready to change from our previous Attorney to Sparkman Law Firm was because of Shazia. Her overall affect is what my case needed. My first impression of Shazia was she warm, open, honest, caring, very intelligent, commanding, tenacious and professionally eloquent. She IS "that" person. It was not an act. I believed she believed in my case- and still does. Her poise, encompassing but not limited to previous named qualities, has been invaluable to my particular situation. Not good. Ms Sparkman won the case for me but it was a bad experience. I had 4 scheduled meetings with her and 3 of those she did not show up. I was promised a monthly statement listing me attorney fees and was not presented a single one in the 1 year that I had dealing with this law firm. After my case was won, Ms Sparkman was to follow up in filing a quick claim deed. Its been one month since the ruling and her office appears to be too busy to file the deed.

I hired Shazia almost a year ago to assist with child support modification and the restructure of visitation for my daughter. I was very reluctant to hire legal council. Sparkman and Sparkman Law firm has been of great help through my divorce these past few months. I hired her after a year of me trying to do everything on my own. She picked right up where I was lost and was up front with me about how much I would need to pay and told me straight up what type of case I was up against. She helped me negotiate an awesome deal with my ex husband regarding child sharing so I wouldn't have to go through a lengthy trial. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the law. She is also knowledgeable about Islamic marriages and Islamic contracts, which is what I needed to be deciphered. Mrs. Sparkman has seen me through what has had to be the most difficult time in my life. Her consultation with me was both a question & answer for me but also helped her decide if she was willing and or able to take on my case, and what it would entail. Very unlike what I experienced at other consults.
She is upfront about what kind of time and fees you are looking at, given FL's current court system. Her command and knowledge of the law and dedication to my case and the ongoing questions regarding it are unsurpassed. She and her staff are always extremely quick to respond to any questions I have had and keep me very well informed on things the layperson may not understand.
My case had to do with an ex husband hiding monies to prevent him from paying support and or alimony. Shazia knew exactly what kind of team to assemble, i.e. experts, to put on the case, and find the proof needed. Mrs. Sparkman and her husband Kevin make an invaluable team, Kevin's absolute command of the law, make any questions that come up during important hearings, easily answered via text or email, as I've watched the two of them in action. and their staff has also been instrumental in making sure to communicate and coordinate any information I may need, or questions I may have. So I am never wondering what is going on with my case.
I might add from reading other reviews, that anyone dealing with Florida's Legal system, try not to expect miracles simply by paying a retainer. You get out of your case what you put into it. If you don't help supply Mrs. Sparkman with information to work with, or any lawyer for that matter, it is doubtful you will have a successful case, or any matter you pursue. It does take some participation on the client's side, to keep any attorney informed so that they can pursue the case in the right manner for you.
I came upon Mrs. Sparkman while looking for a new attorney, and was referred to her by another lawyer I had called about my case, she had lost to Mrs. Sparkman in court, but had the respect for her to refer me to her. My experience with Sparkman and Sparkman was horrible and I will be filling a complaint to the Bar!!! I went to Sparkman desperate for help as a single mother. Mrs. Sparkman took on my case stating that she was giving me a deal "helping me out" She promised to work on my case, trying for things that I thought to be impossible but she felt was possible. I put my hope in her as well as $7,500 for something later I found out that was not at all a deal. 4 months after I gave her the money I still had not heard a word on what she had done to my case. I tried calling multiple times, no return call. I'd email and she would reply that she was still working on it. After months of waiting and not seeing any results of her "work" I decided to go with someone else finding out that she took full advantage of me and did nothing on my case. When I asked for my money back she said she would be fair and give me some of my money back....I got a check for $120!!!!! I am also finding out that I am not the only one. Thanks Sparkman & Sparkman.

To Shazia who is saying I am trying to extort money and saying untrue things about the company.... I hired you as of 6/21/12 and let you go as of 8/2/12 you charged me $7,380 for a bunch of emails. Nothing was ever done on my case and your billing statment shows that for itself. You never filed anything with the court, never returned phone calls, and never kept me informed on what you were doing (or not doing on my case). I have filed a complaint with the bar and we will wait and see what happens until then I hope no one makes the same mistake as me by hiring you.
