I contacted this law firm and only communicated with them through emails and phone calls from Seminole. They got my boyfriend and I a settlement. It took over a year but we are very grateful for the hard work they put into our case. They kept in contact and gave us updates frequently. This was the first of 3 forms I've contacted regarding an employment dispute. The first time I spoke to Ana, who was kind, and had to provide further info regarding the situation. It was very complicated at the time. I was trying to get assistance for false inducement and hostile environment (wanting me to break the law by not asking people old, male, black, Hispanic, gay, or even too ecentric in appearance to come in to complete an application. They need "the look".) After not hearing back I reached out and was informed the lawyer would not be taking my case we sent you an email. They hadn't, but did after the call. Convenient. I was informed to reach out if anything else happens or I lose my job.
Well, I lost my job nearly a month or so later. I understand Florida is right to work and all that, but this felt wrong to the core. I already had the false inducement and hostility issue and now I'm being fired for ensuring I get the 40 hours I am supposed to have? Anyways, I reached out to them immediately to address the new situation. I explained everything all over again and was told I'd hear a response within a day and then never heard back. Again. I reached out and was told the same thing as before. This time I never received an email even though I was told the lawyer sent it. In fact, I've never received any contact from an actual lawyer at the firm. Not even the first was from a lawyer.
I feel as though if I don't have a case you should be courteous enough to tell me and why. But another part feels they see the company and decide it won't pad their pockets so it isn't worth it. That's not good either way. People are going through rough times and these things just add to the troubles they are experiencing. Please do better.

About a month or 2 ago I took down my review about Cabassa because I was lead to believe something that was true. I was told by senior attorney at this firm that I still had a case and that was a lie.This guy Cabassa is the worst attorney I have never met, notice I said never met because I never met with him and only spoke with him twice, the entire year he handled my case, or should I say mishandled. He was never up front with me about his intentions, he never told me he didn't plan on filing a lawsuit or even going to court. It was after my 90days right to sue time was up did he inform me that he didn't plan on going to court. And dropped my case leaving know time to pursue the discrimination case against my previous employer. I spoke with another attorney who said he would've been more than happy to take my case but he couldn't because of this guys poor decisions in handling my case.
In my honest opinion DO NOt I repeat DO NOT let them trick you into mishandling your case if you already hired them seek other council before it's to late dont wait like I did. FOR A LETTER THAT SAID. WE NO LONGER REPRESENT YOU.

Don't waste your time. They'll take your case, waste your time and if it doesn't result in a settlement, they'll simply close it without consulting you first. They wasted six months of my time and simply said "they don't want to settle so we've closed your claim". No call, no consultation, nothing. For wanting 45%, I expected a lot more. At least a firm that would fight for me. This is not that firm. Go with someone else

The worst lawfirm I've hired to date.

I hired this lawfirm for a discrimination lawsuit against my former employer. The attorney Christopther Saba who so adamantly wanted to pursue my case in the consultation, gave me a call one morning and tells me they're dropping my case because "the opposing counsel will not return his emails". So after almost a year of wasting my time i am forced to find another lawfirm ,if its not to late, to pick up my case. Dont be swayed by the enthusiasm and false assurance.

I worked with attorney Matt Fenton from start to finish for the past 14 months. My experience was a great one, and I feel as if he did his part in making sure justice was served. I initially did not plan to pursue a lawsuit, but at the recommendation from several friends and family, I did a Google search and found this law firm who appeared to be just what I needed. I called them and asked them what my rights are, and their staff was very informative. I’m so glad I made that call and they got the ball rolling right away. I encourage anyone seeking council for wrongful termination to contact them immediately and at least know your options! It’s been a pleasure working with Matt and I highly recommend their firm!

I'm giving 2 stars not for their legal advice, but for their lack of responsiveness, which caused me multiple frutstations since I contacted them 2 months ago. The legal assitance I needed was not something that resulted in a court case and it seems that because of this, I have been deemed as unimportant since my original consultation. However, I am a young professional who cannot go back to work in my field for 7 additional months due to their lack of responsiveness and this is a very big deal to me as currently have no livelihood.

I had a fairly simple noncompete issue and needed a simple consultation. I paid the $450 for the hour consultation and got 30 minutes out of it (which at the time was sufficient). The lawyer told me he would get back to me his final advice after he read the exact legal document I had. I sent this document after the consultation and had to call 5 times over the next 2 weeks before I was able to speak to him again. When I finally got ahold of him, he stated he didn't remember saying this and he thought my issue was resolved. By this time, I had a new issue that I needed his help on. He assisted me with this matter (which maybe took 15 minutes of his time in total) making it seem like a favor (even though I had paid for an hour and only got 30 min initially).

Lastly, in order for me to completely resolve the issue I have with my noncompete and go back to work, my previous employer requested a letter from this lawyer stating his legal opinion on the timeline of my noncompete agreement (which I was told by my employer should come standard with the legal advice I paid for). I have called numerous times, sent emails and offered to pay them an additional fee for this letter and all I have gotten in return is the Case Manager telling me this is not something they normally do, but she would look into it and get back to me. I have not heard anything back from the Case Manager for numerous weeks despite my many calls and messages. Therefore, I will either have to pay another $450 to a new lawyer to get a consultation and a letter or wait 7 more months for the issue to resolve itself before I can go back to my normal job.

I can not thank Chris Saba enough for what he has done for me. I honestly felt like giving up, but after talking to Chris, I felt confident about moving forward with my decision in pursuing this case. He thoroughly explained the process and worked on my case in a timely manner. He kept me informed along the way and is a great person to work with. I truly appreciate the time, effort and devotion he has put towards my case. I highly recommend this attorney’s office and definitely recommend Chris Saba.
