I would not recommend this lawyer at all. I hired him because of his rating on here, and I got burned. I had a disorderly intoxication charge and called around to talk to different lawyers to see who I should hire. On the phone he seemed confident and eager to take my case and said he had worked cases like this before. But after I hired him, I realized he is incompetent and acted like he had no time for me. I asked him a simple question about the law on this topic and he said he had no idea and would have to go look up the statute because it had been over a year since he worked a similar case. This is shocking to me that he would talk me into hiring him and not even know anything about the statute nor mention how long it had been since he worked a case like this. Even if it had been over a year, you should know what the law is since this is your job. I would call him and email him and he would take days to reply, and when he did finally call me back, he had an attitude on the phone and acted like he didn't have time to talk to me. I even had to call the courthouse to find out the status of my case because he would not call me back and tell me. The first time I called him after hiring him and left him a (one) voicemail, he called me back and yelled at me because he was in court that day. That's fine if you don't have time for my business, but you should have told me that before I hired you, because there are plenty of other lawyers who would have loved to have my business. He charged me $1,000, and all I got in return was an investigator to notarize 2 witness statements and a poorly written letter that he wrote to the prosecutor. The letter looked as if it was written by a 5th grader. He used the word "through" two times when he meant "throw". He also spelled the word "lunge" as "lounge", and the grammar was horrible. I don't know how he got a JD and not even know how to write a letter. The investigator was also incompetent. He tried for two weeks to get surveillance tape footage and he wanted to charge me extra because he was using up all his time. I told him forget it; I'm not paying anymore money for something I could do myself. He also could not even get my witness statements. I had to call the witnesses myself so that he could just put a rubber notarize stamp on it. Seriously, I could have done the lawyer's job and the investigator's job myself (I practically did anyways) and saved myself $1,000. I would recommend you look into other lawyers, because he may seem great based on his ratings on here and how he sells himself, but once he's hired, he's a totally different person.

It was not dismissed because of him; these cases are almost always automatically dismissed without a lawyer. It would have been dismissed anyway had I not hired a lawyer. He said he was a former prosecutor, so he should have known that. My witnesses were cooperative. One came to his office, and I gave the addresses to the second one. And, no, I am not confusing statute with case law. I asked him specifically about the statute and he said he did not know the statute and would have to look it up. So he is the one confused. And, no, you took longer than 48 hours to get back to me. Nice try in trying to spin it.

Armando and his team where so great to my grandparents that recently got into an accident January 2019. They made the process very easy without any added stress for them. Since they are older he was great with explaining how the process worked and made sure they were getting the medical attention they needed.
