Second to none, this attorney is fabulous & he's the Mayor! Mr. Sam Fugate Senior came highly recommended by neighbors & a few volunteer organizational leaders. I was summoned to appear before a Riviera Justice of Peace. Long story short; CASE Dismissed!
The dismissed summons, with several baseless allegations, was generated shortly after I: 1)asked the cheer moms (verbally & electronically) to keep their distance from my child after several odd but aggressive encounters with a few minor children on the squad. 2)An ill timed thank you card. (That was accidentally mailed the day the females an aggressive encounter with my 15 year old). No joke, my thank you card, citing gratitude for hosting a pool party, was part of the summons. If you know these women and they haven't showed you their crazy, give them a hug. Poor things. Mayor Fugate's confidence was heartwarming, given that this was my first & only summons.
Hands down, this is the best attorney in this quaint little town!! Mayor Fugate's ability to sift through the numerous lies & the countless megalomaniac type illustrations from the 2sets of parents was astounding. The other litigants drew this peace bond out as long as possible. They literally stretched every known half truth they could find and had a former school administrator (Mr. Les Dragon)/parents (Ms. Stacy Florence) to substantiate the lies, all to no avail. TYJ, The Truth ALWAYS prevails.
Thankfully, there were 2 witnesses to confirm my request was in fact brief, cordial& kind. Looking back on our (my husband& I) initial meeting w/Mr. Fugate I am in awe. He asked if we felt the other litigants actions were racially motivated. Our answer was; nothing obvious. Mayor Fugate's instinct was proven correct the day of the hearing when one of their children made a racial slur @Cheer Practice. It all made sense, it was in fact ALL racially motivated. During this hearing, He calmly refuted all of the lies & showed I had only been respectful/ direct in my requests.
Sonia, his assistant has been with this law firm over 2 decades. That in itself speaks volumes. Mrs. Sonia is second to none, her diligence& amazing communication w/Mr. Sam involving this lengthy case was great. When Mr. Fugate was unavailable, she ALWAYS made time to speak with me, even when I extended short notice to drop off the requested paperwork. Thankfully the truth was & always will be illuminated. Oddly, I feel incredibly blessed to have found this attorney & learn of Mayor Fugate's operational standard personally, Despite Ms. Denise Elizondo (Dee Dee Zimmerman) & Rachel DeLaPaz's petty & futile summons.
Not only does he have my vote, but I would highly recommended him professionally. Given the odd complexity of this case, it must be said, He and his assistant were worth every dime! I was even moved to extend a small token of my appreciation Mrs. Sonia after the case was DISMISSED. Thankfully she is among Kingsville's more classy ladies & it was well received. If you are looking for a law office with an above standard operational standard this is your place. Mr. Fugate's personal knowledge & experience will prove to be invaluable!!
