Joshua Bickman is the lawyer you want on your side plain and simple. Mr. Bickman is an experienced litigator who will fight for you tooth and nail. Joshua Bickman disaster! Bickman failed to show up for a strategy meeting (after confirming twice) concerning my Mediation. The Divorce Mediation was to affect the next 10 years of my life (minor child custody) and Bickman did not bother to show up to plan a strategy. ( I sat alone for an hour staring at a blank notepad.) He did show up on time for the Mediation, but had not read the Judge's order for the cost, so at the start of Mediation we actually had to leave the Court House and go to a store downtown to buy a money order. Mediation has a strict time limit and this wasted very valuable time and made us look unprofessional to the opposing counsel (who was prepared). During Mediation, Bickman was NOT able to articulate an argument in my favor using the clause from my Pre-Nup (which was a valuable bargaining chip). Joshua Bickman was such a disaster at Mediation, that afterwards I immediately did a substitution of counsel (hired another attorney) which of course cost me thousands of dollars more.

He is very knowledgable about the court system, how it relates to the legal issues of a case and provides good examples of how your potential case will play out before a judge and in the courtroom. Mr. Bickman was able to untangle the mess my previous attorney left behind. He was very straight forward with me as to what to expect and in actuality, he wasn't far off. I like that he took the bull by the horns and lead my complicated divorce to a speedy resolve. He did an excellent job focusing on what was important and (I'm sure) saved me thousands of dollars by not litigating meaningless matters that opposing council raised. When it came time to litigate, he controlled the situation and had opposing council in constant disarray.
