We called this law firm to get some simple legal advice for moving our business to North Carolina. The lawyer was so rude and assertive that she was an attorney it was ridiculous. I then asked her based on past experience has she ever seen anyone charged with the 3-strikes you in law. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to me and my situation. I was falsely of a Felony situation 18 lmonth's ago. It has cost me over $90,000 in lost income. I had a attorney orginally that was not a bad person just not high level and Top Level Attorney Jesse and his team.

I could not afford the level of Attorney that Jesse is and he worked with me to change over to him and in the end did the following:

1. Saved me immediately $2,000 and got a warrant for my arrest removed that should have never been issued due to the fact my first attorney failed to show up in court on a day he was supposed to cover (Like Jesse did numerous time and never missed a day he promised to cover me). That was critical as i live in Florida and could not afford traveling back and forth unless I had to be there.
2. My case would have likely never went to Superior Court had I had jesse at the District Court level.
3. He moved the case along much more rapidly and due to the slow process of the court saved me probably another $100,000 in lost income. When you have a Pending Felony (Which I did not do and it was proven that I did not) ....You cant get a good Salary job. I am used to making 5K to 8K a month as a Manager (I have 2 Graduate Degrees and Former Major US ARmy). Even with those Credentials BECAUSE OF MY PENDING CASE COULD NOT GET A GOOD JOB.
4. I will not divulge the details as I do not want others to take advantage of his and his wifes' wonderful hearts. But I lost my job/ my house and was financially and mentally devastated. He went at times months without payment to continue to represent me and did not drop me as a Client. What lawyer of his Caliber does that?
5. I offered to pay him the balance in time as I can now work and be paid the value my education and experience. What did Jesse and his wife do? They WAIVED THE REMAINDER OF MY FEE. Told me they knew the case broke me financially and would not accept the balance of the money owed to help me get on my feet. I am so grateful to them beyond words.

To summarize – here are reasons you should hire Jesse Scharff without delay:
1. Jesse and Reba communicate well. This also goes for all the personnel in his office. Jesse and the Scharff Law firm do their best to answer your questions within 24 hours and they keep you informed through the whole process.
2. Jesse will not bullshit or sugarcoat you. He will be straightforward and let you know his thoughts and opinions about your case.
3. Jesse knows the Judges, the DA’s and all the people important in your case. He has the ability to spot weaknesses in the prosecution and the officers.
a. He will give you information to review – so you can review if you would like. In my case, I reviewed everything. I researched a ton and none of that mattered, because Jesse had it handled.
b. Jesse will also give you the standard information for you to do prior to your court case.
c. Do what he says. I finished all the classes, pre-work and community service before my first court case in preparation for the worst scenario.

Here are my reasons and why I say the above:

I hired Jesse for a DWI charge. He was a recommendation from a friend, whom in her case had a different attorney she fired, in order to hire Jesse. The Sunday morning after my arrest on Saturday, I called Jesse’s number, about an hour later, he called me and we spoke for about an hour. In this initial conversation, I was impressed; not only by what he had to say, but also because of his demeanor and the steps he took to outline what I should do next. Every time I met with Jesse, he was organized and on track.

Here is where Jesse’s experience and patience seals the deal. When the DA was arguing my case, she went after everything, my demeanor, and my character and she presented a few incorrect facts and made broad and unclear assumptions. Jesse leaned over to me and said, “All she is proving is that you were intoxicated” and that’s what she did. After about an hour and thirty minutes, the DA only proved that I was intoxicated and could did not prove that I was driving or that I was complicit in any illegal activity. Jesse got up and spoke for about three minutes to refute the evidence and said “Your Honor, we have no evidence my client was in the car, and much less driving.”

My case was dismissed and all charges dropped. My arrest and record were expunged and I have my life back.

I am writing this note to highly recommend Attorney Jesse (Jess) Scharff.

Without getting into too many details, I was involved in a car accident, was arrested, and came away with 4 charges. Jess got 3 of them dismissed, and I came away with just court costs and a fine. There was a little bit of luck or good fortune concerning the sentence, but Jess did negotiate the three dismissals with the prosecutor before court. He was also the first attorney in the courtroom on the day of my sentencing.

Besides the legal issues, I liked Jess as a person, felt that he really did care for me, and he definitely had my back. You feel like you are in good hands, and he is going to protect you and your interests. Jess partners with his wife Reba (also an attorney), and they have a very homey office. This is not a traditional cold marble and glass operation.

I wouldn't expect every case to go as well as mine, but Jess did a great job for me.
