I only inquired about an incident, nothing was confirmed. The attorney i spoke with was so dismissive and assumed the result of my case before even hearing me out. This was a place that was referred to me, but you can tell that there was a "sense of entitlement" coming from the people who work in this office. It's very unprofessional and you can tell she's only there for the check and not to actually do her job.

George Chuzi is THE best attorney. He is responsive and knowledgeable. I wouldnt recommend anyone else on earth for my friends or family.

After going to two big DC law firms that turned down my case (charged for the consultations, but I did get a free book), I found the firm of Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch, P.C. After meeting with Attorney Nina Ren in 2014, she quickly accepted and started working on my EEO complaints against one of the largest federal agencies. Ms. Ren was outstandingly communicative and kept me updated. I always felt as if I was the most important case she had. One of the toughest things was going through mountains of paperwork/emails and putting everything in a timeline to show how things played out. The deposition was no fun, but Ms. Ren kept everything organized. When all of the paperwork was sorted out, she did a great job responding to each of the agencies allegations by using supporting documentation.

One other thing that was helpful was when I reached my retainer limit, the firm worked with me on a payment plan.

Now after almost five years, we are almost at the end of this long ordeal. I wish I could tell you more, but since we have agreed to a global settlement, I am not in a position to provide further details. Needless to say, I am happy and I feel like I finally have my life back. If you are lucky to have Ms. Ren as your attorney, your case is in the best hands.

Services were very expensive with no results. The attorney asked that I write out a timeline detailing my experiences so we can start with a demand letter. With no guideline I wrote several pages of everything I could remember whether it may be relevant or not. All the attorney did was take my poorly written outline and add some legal wording and bill me for 10 hours. It probably took no more than two. Months went by until I finally asked about the status and that’s when she decided to follow up. She never did a thing unless I specifically asked. She never gave me a single bit of legal advice. My filing with EEOC was denied and I truly believe it’s because the filing with the EEOC was my poorly written timeline with legal wording added by the attorney. When I decided to file a law suit against my former employer, they wanted a $35k retainer. I had no choice but to find a new lawyer which I was happy to do since I felt like I already wasted a lot of money for “do it yourself” legal service.

When I explained that I was looking for another attorney the attorney at KCNF offered to look over my file and let me know the strong points and the weak ones and give her advice for another $1200-1600!! I thought that’s what I was already paying her to do. I feel I was scammed.

The new attorney I found was night and day. At the new firm I actually received advice and attention I should have received from the beginning. This firm was a complete wast of money because they did absolutely nothing.

Elaine Fitch gave me my life back!!!!

I have retained Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch, P.C. , three times since 2003 for various reasons including an EEO which evolved to a retaliation situation eight years later. I also had disability issues that eventually resulted in a hearing and later needed assistance with pension, benefits and taxes. In every situation I was pleased with the services provided, the expertise, compassion and support that I received from Elaine Fitch and her colleagues at Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch.

I had assistance from each of the partners of this firm during my five-year disability case, which I won at the hearing. Elaine Fitch was outstanding every step of the way. She has an incredible memory and knew my case inside out when we finally got on the Administrative Judge’s schedule. She was prepared and had several assistants on hand to assist with the details and any unexpected surprises.

I am eternally grateful for the services I received from this firm. I felt like I got a slice of my soul back after my hearing as my professional reputation was on the line along with my livelihood, pension and health benefits. Initially, I felt like I could not compete with the seemingly unlimited resources my former Agency had to fight my case. But, as I quickly learned, Elaine Fitch was able to stand up for me and my rights as a federal employee. I unconditionally recommend this law firm to anyone with a legitimate employment or disability claim.

First impression was not the best. Called to get info, and he told me to turn my TV down, assuming I was watching TV, when I have never owned one.

Not impressed.

I highly recommend KCNF! I’ve turned to them on a few occasions for legal counsel on an employment issue and each time the lawyers at the firm were very responsive and amazingly helpful. They worked with me to find the right approach to the issue and provided solid legal counsel. They had my back and fought for my rights. When I need an employment attorney, I will always call KCNF.

I just needed some advice on an employment issue, and the attorneys I spoke with at this firm were knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely responsive. I highly recommend them.

Ms. Kuntz is knowledgeable, experienced and tenacious for her clients. She has a great legal mind but still has a heart and wants to help her clients find justice. Ms. Kuntz goes out of her way to ensure fair treatment for her clients in the EEO process. Her experience allows her to be one step ahead of those who want to manipulate the EEOC system. You can get other great lawyers, but Ms. Kuntz is one of the best. You can take that to the BANK!
