Spoken with an attorney and had a good conversation. Called back to speak with him and the receptionist was extremely nasty and disrespectful. Beyond terrible customer service. Id give no stars that for that unnecessary treatment....

Recently I was falsely arrested and had my criminal case dismissed for lack of probable cause. I knew I had to do something, but I had a lot of trouble finding a civil rights attorney willing to fight for me. From my research this is one of the few firms that takes on USC 42 Section 1983 cases in Virginia and I'm very grateful. Jonathan and all of his associates were extremely polite, professional, and genuine. I went into this case with low expectations, but Halperin Law performed beyond my wildest dreams. I was able to secure compensation for my troubles from the police misconduct I experienced and sent a clear message that our constitutional rights are not up for debate. If you want someone on your team that is as passionate about your case as you are, then look no further.

Do not hire this firm. We waited 6 years to get to trial, traveled down from NY for said trial only to find out Halperin retired. We were left with some rookie attorney that was terrible. The whole trial was ridiculous. From. It having a jury, to finally getting hostile jurors recalled. Then the moron chooses a claims adjuster to sit in on an insurance case. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable attorney.

At the end all engagements were straight win for my family. All of the staff of Halperin Law Center was very helpful, informative, pleasant & very easy to work with. They kept me up to date on everything that I needed to know, they checked up on me to make sure I was doing OK after my accident & they took the time with me and explained everything to me, they never rushed me, they would always make sure that everything was understood before we ended our conversations.
