Great closing

Guest and Brady was selected by the buyers of our house, and we did an out-of-state closing. They managed to make a stressful situation even more stressful with their total lack of communication and follow-through during the whole process. Simple errors (like spelling our email address wrong, so we wasted an entire week waiting for documents... my wife called and emailed numerous times during that week to let them know we had not received anything and make sure they had the correct address, and NONE of her calls were returned) made us question whether things were being done properly and correctly. During the 3-4 weeks we worked with them, we could never get ahold of the woman handling our closing, and 9 times out of 10 she did not return phone calls. I have no idea if she even listened to our voicemails. Despite our efforts to be proactive, she sent us the final closing documents at the last minute, giving us exactly 4 hours to print a stack of papers, find a notary (with 3 kids in tow), and get everything to UPS in time for the documents to make it to SC by the closing date/time. There’s a 6-hour time difference from SC to our new home, and they really put us in a tough spot. It cost us an extra $120 in notary fees since we had to find one on short notice at the end of the day. On top of that, they made several errors in the closings docs, so we had to ask for corrections to be re-sent. I’m giving 2 stars because in the end everything closed and processed on time, but after buying/selling 3 different homes, Guest and Brady was by far the worst experience. Simple communication and follow-through would have made a world of difference. They made it clear that we were not a priority.

My time is extremely valuable, so I do not typically take the time to write reviews unless I think that the outcome will have a significantly helpful impact for someone else. My experience with Guest and Brady was with a mail-away closing as a seller. My property was set to close at 2pm on a Friday. Upon calling at 3:30 pm, I found that they had not even started the closing. Apparently, the time was changed without me being notified. Either way, I inquired with Theresa about when my sellers proceeds would be sent. I was told by the end of the day. I received no further communication from Guest and Brady when the closing completed. I checked with my bank about 5p to see if the funds had been sent. No wire had been initiated to my account. I contacted my realtor who let me know that the closing wrapped up around 4:30p. Based on this firms hours, that left 30 minutes to either wire the funds to me or communicate that the funds would be sent on Monday. I am a real estate investor and I understand that sometimes wires have to wait until the next business day. But I do not understand the lack of consideration and professionalism in not communicating the status of my proceeds. As of 5:30p that Friday, there was no way to contact the firm and find out what happened for the entire weekend! This experience was highly distressing for my family. On the following Monday morning, I was not met with an apologetic response. Instead, I was told by Natalie that everyone was busy with another closing, which is very frustrating considering mine was not yet complete from the prior week. I did eventually receive my funds but the process to receiving them was far below my expectations. I truly hope that no other client has to experience what I felt being left out of the loop as a key party to an important transaction!

I was so happy with my experience with them all of their help with my auto accident. They were always there when i needed them. I could just call and they were always happy to speak with me. Overall very nice and helpful staff.

Mr. Guest of Guest and Brady was an answer to prayer. I was hit by a front end loader on a John Deer tractor at Conestee Park. Though the blade of the front end loader came into my windshield and stopped short of decapitation Greenville county was not supportive of resolving my medical bills from a concussion, glass in eyes and other issues affecting my eye sight and body. Mr. Guest and his staff were friendly and helped me obtain medical treatment and specialty doctors though I was new to the area. If I ever need an attorney for any purpose auto accident or otherwise I will give them a call. Knowing they are Christian principled made me comfortable in having them be my representatives. I thank God for them.

I had a horrible experience with this law firm. I had a slip and fall on someone's property. Hurt my back and still having problems in my back and legs montgs later . This law firm told me to do a self pay for a 3000 dollar MRI that the money would be recovered for that bill but because I had a baby and surgery and was prescribed pain pills for that along with the injury I got during the fall. After 5 months call me and tell me they aren't contunuing with my case . So now im stuck with this bill they got me to do. And they won't follow through with what they said they would. I would not recommend this firm to anyone
