I recognized this was only going to get worse for me and decided to make a free consultation with multiple bankruptcy attorneys to discuss my options. Because I have not lived in Tennessee very long I could not file through the normal procedure of going through the state, and one other experienced bankruptcy attorney in the area, for example, told me she was going to ask her boss about how I could file for bankruptcy.
When I finally sat down with Mitchell I felt an entirely different sensation- relief. Mitchell was very patient, composed, careful, and really took the time to listen to everything I had to say, no matter how insignificant the detail turned out to be. This is an attorney who went the extra mile for me, with everything from helpful email reminders to ways to protect my personal privacy (considering filing bankruptcy is public record).
Mitchell is diligent, and his attention to detail makes him an excellent choice to help navigate a stressful time for anybody. He is very thorough and I cannot stress enough how much that makes the difference if you need to file bankruptcy.
When my meeting of creditors finally came I sat in the Customs House and watched as several other people filing for bankruptcy went before the trustee and numerous times these other people had their cases prolonged or moved to a future docket due to an error that their attorneys had made doing the necessary paperwork. I did not experience that at all, Mitchell made me feel prepared and the experience, although innately scary, went about as smooth as it possibly could have.
Today I am debt free and it feels fantastic, I have learned from my mistakes and from the entire bankruptcy experience. Mitchell does tremendous work and I highly suggest him if you are in a tough financial situation, as I couldn’t imagine someone having done a finer job.
