When I first hired them to help with my disability , the person who went to court was a complete failure... but with the second time they stepped up with a different person and did what was expected and help win my case. So I give them 5 stars for doing a great job.

It took forever for them to do anything for me. And I learned 2 months before they called me that I had a hearing for my disability. I actually called them and told them when it was. When I finally got to talk to a lawyer before the hearing day all he could say was 10 4 on everything. Got in the court room the next day and he didnt say maybe 4 words I was the one talking. I dont feel they should get paid as much as they do. And when you win the case they bill you for your medical records. They get enough payment for nothing as it is I dont feel they should charge us for medical record.

Waste of time..All they care about is money

We have over thirty years experience in the Social Security disability field and our lawyers are among the best in the field. We diligently represent all of our clients and we win most of our cases. However, some people are just not disabled under the law. It takes time to obtain and review all outstanding medical records. When that review is complete the firm makes an assessment as to whether disability can be proved. It is extremely difficult to win a disability case and ultimately less than half of the applicants prevail. If we don't think we can win a case, we don't proceed with the case and notify the client. This is our ethical obligation.

I feel the staff have been very nice and full of information when I call. Very professional! They are the best and it did take me 2 years after I went to them. That is not their fault that is Social Security's fault. Even if I had not won my case the way they handled it was enough to know they did their very best. There is a medical records fee that they were 100% up front about. I agreed and I understand nothing in life is free even personal medical records! Thank you for being great Buchanan!

This was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. It took 3.5 years to get everything done, and was denied. Then they took it to appeals...denied! I haven't left my house but a few times in 4 to 5 years cause of anxiety. I cut my self constantly, I hear voices, I need serious help. They never contacted me all that time but about 3 to 4 times in all that time. What a joke, they have too many clients and don't care about the individual. So, I ask for my records to do it on my own, and they say "We can give you your medical records for $X amount." I said I thought it didn't cost unless y'all won? " Well, that's true but you signed several contracts that has that info in there!" You mean the contract I signed when I specifically asked you all the costs? And you said none!? That one? Fine, but I want my entire file to take to more caring firm..."We don't give those out" So what do you do with them? " Oh we scan them into our computer?" For what I ask? Miss Karen begins sounding like a 2 year old pitching a fit...""Do yu just want to speak with one of the attorneys ?" Fine! I said, then she hangs up! Just don't waste your time with these guys? Remember they have a multi million dollar building and and all the TV ad time!to pay for. I've never felt so out of place when I was in there. They are a rich snooty bunch who cares little to nothing about thier clients. I mean, I really need help, I cannot keep a job because I always get fired for , and I quote, "You are too nuts to work here" and some how all the lazy people with nothing wrong with them but being over weight get it all day, but not the person who really needs it.
