Totally disappointed. For the money we have spent it has been an awful experience and it’s still not over. My daughter and our family has been put on the back burner to take care of things ourself. We paid them lots of money they represented us once in court then from there NOTHING. Don’t waste your time

Very unprofessional responses to the reviews that have been posted by others. The whole point of a review is to be able to express concerns or praise on the service that was received. You will never be able to please anyone, however bashing someone for their opinion on your service and firm and trying to defend why you were not in the wrong is extremely distasteful. That was to be expected after seeing the disciplinary action that was brought against Mr. Turner by state licensing, on more than one occasion might I add. That was the second red flag for me. The first red flag, however, was due to a friend of mine and a case he and a fellow attorney had been working on. After so many mishaps, never knowing what was going on with the case due to poor communication, not returning phone calls, and then finally after receiving an OUTRAGEOUS bill . I would think twice or maybe even three times before picking up the phone to call these dishonest "lawyers". To have 2 people working on a case, one who hasn't a clue and the other about to lose his licensing isn't exactly what I would call good representation. We will be seeking more action then just the bad reflection on a review. Taking advantage of people looking for help is totally uncalled for.
I had a great experience with Turner Law office The Paralegal and Attorney was very informative and helpful .I will use them again if I need a lawyer.

My wife & I put up a 5 thousand dollar retainer for a great lawyer that was working their who did a fantastic job but then he left and we were assigned another lawyer who had no clue what was going on and although we kept adding money to our retainer we have ended up thousands of dollars in the hole because the new lawyer had to learn the case and charged us thousands just to read what the first lawyer had done . We find this as insulting because this new lawyer who we knew nothing about only went to court maybe 1 time if that . We had money in our retainer until we were assigned this new lawyer without our consent

Robert Turner and his firm are very slick and dishonest. Look at reviews on other sites as well. The only way to stop him is to report him to the bar and let the authorities investigate his cases. Yes divorce is hard but your attorney shouldn’t be making the experience harder than it should be. Please stop exploiting vulnerable people.

Fast, affordable, quick and painless. Payment plan option was convenient. I did have to have them revise the documents for an erroneous line they added without my knowledge. But other that, I'd recommend.

So far my experience with Turner Law Offices has been a positive one. Divorce is never pleasant even if it’s a healthy choice and I had dreaded starting the legal process before contacting Turner Law. I do have a fairly simple situation, uncontested, have already gone through mediation with no property or assets to divide, and general amicability. Still it’s been great to feel like my case is in good hands. Everyone I’ve dealt with in the office has been professional, prompt in communication and the cost has been fair. I would definitely recommend Turner Law Offices.

Rob and his attorneys are great! I used this firm in 2016 and now using them again over a parental move away (still in progress). I have nothing but good things to say. You can't rely on google reviews to pick your lawyer, if you make minimum payments, you get minimum effort. If you have a losing case, you have a losing case. I'm in regular contact with them, paperwork gets done, they're filing their motions, etc. Rob is amazing in trial. If your case goes to trial, spend the extra money and have him do it, everything else have the associate attorneys do.

STAY AWAY FROM TURNER LAW OFFICES!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! I hired them back in 2016 to assist me with changing a parental agreement. I had three different lawyers while I was a client of theirs. Never was I notified when my lawyer was being changed. Every time they would do this they would charge me $125.00 even though I did not request it nor was I notified before they did it. When they would show up to court, my attorney was always confused about what they were there for. They would be fumbling through my case file trying to figure out exactly what they were suppose to be doing with my case moments before they were to represent me. The communication was so poor that I would have to reach out to the office to get status updates on my case. I was also charged for that every single time $50 for phone calls and to respond to emails (when they would respond, they often did not) after 3 and 4 months of no communication. One court date in particular, I hadn't been able to get in contact with nor had I heard from my lawyer in months. Finally the day before I was to go to court I heard from my lawyer. They also changed my case strategy without consulting me or my consent. I fired them verbally and via email and I didn't receive a letter for them to withdraw from my case until over a year later. The only communication you can count on to be consistent is from the billing department. I had to hire another lawyer to do what I originally hired them for in the first place, and it didn't take half the time or cost. I have paid this law office thousands of dollars already and now they are suing me for a job that they never did, never even tried to do in my opinion. It seems that they don't actually make money handing people's cases, but from taking advantage of people and suing them once they now longer allow themselves to be taken advantage of. This law firm uses unethical practices to prolong cases and scam their clients out of money!

My close friend tried to use this firm to represent him, its been OVER a year and they literally have done nothing. The female that was representing him lied, didnt respond and ultimately didnt file anything that she said she was going to. They gave his case to someone else. That person didnt get far with anything and then changed law firms. Mr Turner took over the case and basically told my friend that after spending money with them waiting for them to do something, that NOWWWW they can try to file something. They claimed they were going to send a retainer, he never got, he sent them stuff and asked if they got it, he sent messages over and over unsuccessfully (since they do not like to communicate). In the beginning they claimed over and over they "tried" to call to let him know when a meeting was rescheduled, he drove down twice, over an hour away just to get there and be told they couldn't see him for a meeting they set up. This firm doesn't seem to have their stuff together. Go to someone else

I was in a bad situation. And they took advantage of that. Every second is billed. If they open a letter. Take a message, talk to anyone you get billed. I wanted to dismiss my case she kept it going. Making it worse. I didn't ask for things, there we were in court she ask for them. Her and the other attorney were law school classmates. So while they talk school on the phone I paid the bill by the hour. I had to file my own papers to fire her in court, then file to dismiss my own case. People are putting bad comments on facebook and they are being taken down.

This is not the lawyer for you! I hire TLO to simply show up at a child suport review while I was out of town to show my income. They auto drafted my retainer just like they said they would and the money was there just like it should have been so I went on with my life thinking all was good. It wasn't! I got a letter and a bill a month later from the court stating I had failed to appear! When I call TLO they had no record of my payment! I took them my bank records and showed them where they drafted the money. They quickly apologized and said "Don't worry, we'll file a motion 60 to set that order aside and it'll be as if it never happened." NOT TRUE! They have continued sending me bills for this motion and all the hard work they're doing for me. I finally just settled with my ex about the suport so I ask TLO to withdraw from the case. Would you believe they sent me another bill?!? Sure did. Billed me for the withdrawal and I still don't have credit for the retainer I paid. Not sure what happens next but I think I'm going to a new lawyer for advice.

I don't have words to describe how frustrating my experience with this law firm has been. My divorce case was supposed to be relatively cut and dry. But because I used Turner Law, I was screwed. I filed in March 2015. My case (uncontested, no children, used mediation) was not settled until January 2016. That's nearly a year, for a case that should have been settled within a couple of months. Here are my complaints: 1. Lack of communication: Calls go unreturned, emails unanswered, case being stalled. I think this could be a shady business tactic to charge the customer more money. I received notice that my original lawyer was leaving the firm, postmarked TWO DAYS BEFORE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED I was given 48 hours to decided whether I would stay with Turner Law or follow him to a new firm. I wasn't thrilled with his services (turns out that was indicative of Turner Law more than anything) and I'd already paid so much to Turner that I decided I would stay. Big mistake. I had to pester the firm by email and phone to find out who would now be handling my case. I was assigned to a lawyer named Pete Frech. I was told he would be the one taking care of my mediation. WRONG. Late November 2015 I had mediation with A DIFFERENT LAWYER than I had been assigned. When I finally got my final hearing before the judge. It was not Mr. Logue who appeared with me, it was a complete and total stranger whose name I am unaware of. Hell, I don't even know if it was truly the person who I was billed for. They could have sent me in there with any John Doe off the street and I wouldn't know him from Adam. My father was helping me make payments (see no. 4) and was told the account had been paid in full when his final payment was received. However, it took two more months and my final bill was received. I still owed over $500, contrary to what they told my father. See no. 3 on this payment plan business. 2. Professionalism (or lackthereof). In addition to the issues outlined above, I was matched with a lawyer (my third, but not last) by the name of Ryan Logue. He attended my mediation in ill-fitting, disheveled dress, and spent his time checking his phone, sighing while the process took too long, tapping his fingers impatiently, and speaking unprofessionally (inappropriately joking about the sexual preferences/cross dressing activity of someone while I sat in tears at my divorce mediation) during the waiting period. When I came into his office to air my grievances with the handling of my case, Mr. Logue spoke to me with a curt, unprofessional, eye-rolling attitude. He became so upset he actually had to go into the other room and ask the paralegal to come in--from thereon she handled the conversation. He could not even resolve a simple matter regarding why the hell had my final divorce hearing not been put on the books yet--in late December. This was apparently blamed on an ex-paralegal for the firm, but it was Mr. Logue's job to ultimately oversee the case and oversee his subordinates. 3. Payment. It takes too long to get billed (over 2 months for me to receive my final bill), a huge interest rate, and their "payment plan" is A MINIMUM of $500 DOLLARS A MONTH. Not all of us are lawyers and able to pay this gargantuan amount every month. That's literally half my mortgage. When I told the person who answers the phone this, he told me "Well, as long as you're paying $250 a month it won't go to collections." So truly, the minimum is $250/month. Still an exorbitant amount for the average person--it's more than my car payment.
