The people that work here are the least compassionate, rudest, and inconsiderate people on the planet. It is so upsetting that some people or in this case the whole company has ZERO empathy. All I have to say is Karma will catch up to them all.
Not much to say besides the comments made before me.

They are attempting to collect a debt that was disputed years ago, in addition it is way past my states legal collection limit. They refilled a garnishment (that was dismissed two years ago) without ever notifying me of their intent. So far they have not provided one iota of reliable proof of debt. Can't wait to see them in court.

They made multiple options available to me to make payment arrangements and avoid court. They were understanding and easy to work with. Thank you for your help during a stressful time. UPDATE: Since this post my account has been paid in full. I cannot give Blitt and Gaines a higher rating than 5 stars, but they stuck to their agreement and (for once) I stuck to mine. Make the effort to work with them and you will find that piece of mind that comes with getting debt taken care of.

I called to make a payment arrangement prior to my court date. I was told the case would either be dismissed or continued until I filled out the payment contract and sent it back. I just checked the court case that was today. They entered a default judgment against me. Not a single mention of a continuation or dismissal. I'll be calling the office in a bit to let them know exactly what I think of their shady practices .

Attempted to set up a serious payment plan with them. They told me that they would rather garnish my wages. To check back later and if they couldn’t get garnishment they might allow me to make payments. Very condescending “people” there

Do everything and anything you can to avoid dealing with this company. Their online payment system is an absolute joke. They changed the requirements one day to make it even more difficult to make a payment on your account. They will garnish your wages without sending you notice beforehand, costing you time and money to overturn it that they know regular working folks don't have. They garnished my check that I needed to pay rent from. If I'm homeless how exactly do you think I would be able to pay anything? I hope they go under. What they do is disgusting and unethical.

Rude and unwilling to work with you! I called yesterday to set up a repayment plan for a debt and was flatly refused. The last time they wanted to settle, I wasn't working at the time, so obviously had nothing to pay with. Now that I am working, I get a letter in the mail warning me of wage garnishment. They didn't even try to contact me about repayment; just jumped to this garbage! This debt is 10 years old! If I didn't have to leave a rating, it would be in the negatives. They have done nothing but harassed me all this time.

Predators. Plain and simple. Its abundantly clear that their business model is to troll the depths of the debtor ocean and collect on it. This company has garnished my wages for a $2600 charge off from almost 10 years ago, when I was a stupid fiscally irresponsible kid. Now Im adult. Thats how long it has been. statute of limitations be damned. I hope you enjoy the money you stole from me that you bought for pennies on the dollar. Meanwhile i will CONTINUE to suffer with my credit because i am now over 30 days late on my mortgage and car and I will probably NEVER catch up because of this. The documentation I am entitled to showing it is paid had better promptly arrive when this is paid, or we are going to have a MAJOR problem.

This place and the workers are very unprofessional. They want you to make payments however you don't get any communication regarding the balance on your accounts. I have never paid a bill or owed anyone who did not at least call me when I needed to pay. I have to call every time I want to know my balance. The people that work there do not care and I guarantee if you do not pay they will be placing a lien on your assets.

Do not make arrangements with this company. I did and needed to update my account information for my payments about Halfway through so I could continue to pay and also pay out of the correct account. Of course anytime you call there is no answer. I left messages as well as sent in emails. Then I get notified from my bank (incorrect bank btw because I could not update it) that my account had been drained and guess what it was the amount that this company wanted from me. Of course I attempted to call and email many more times with no response UNTIL after they received payment from the bank, then I get an email stating they can’t talk via email and to call. Little to late there. When I called they tried telling me someone had called however when asking them to confirm the number they were calling the rep said he couldn’t. Really you can’t make sure your calling the right number, probably because you NEVER called. So much for trying to make sure they always had my updated information for payments.

We agreed to a payment plan. It's a small debt so will only take 6 months to pay off. A few things I dont like. There never there to answer the phone, you have to explained things over and over because they dont note the acct. Also the website needs to have a PayPal or debit/credit card option to make payments. Would make it easier.

I'm forced to pay this company every week it's deducted right from my paycheck, When I told them my lawyer was lissening they wouldn't continue to talk to me. This company is a complete joke, the people that work there are rude as hell! They also refused to fax me documents proving as to why they added $2115 on my current debt!!! The amount and interest I'm forced to pay them is around $11500 now in about 28 years when I can pay this off with a 85% interest rate, I will have paid them around $21, 500. This company is shady AF!

So wish 0 stars was possible. They refuse to even talk to me, to even make arrangements. When I was on the phone, they said I obviously wasn't the person the bill was for, so I needed to get them on the phone, to tell them that yes, I was actually them. They also gave the option of sending the info to them. I just sent it to them, 6 months passed and they never once contacted me--I figured as they wanted like 70% of my yearly pay, they decided that I couldn't make payments yet. They then sent me a form where they're complaining that I never contacted them, and they're talking to the judge.

I understand their job is to collect debts owed and to do that you have to be aggressive. However, I was trying to pay my balance in full and they were incredibly rude. They froze my bank account without notice while I was still making payments to them. They claimed they did it bc I wasn't making large enough payments. To get it unlocked I had to pay the balance in full and take it to the office. It took me forever to even get that information as every time I tried calling they would hang up on me and I wasn't even being rude. They also promised to fax over the letter that my bank needed the following day. Here we are a week later and the bank still hasn't received it. I've called many times, been hung up on twice and the person was very rude when I asked how long until the letter would be faxed over. They are incredibly rude every time I try to get questions answered. Would not recommended unless you enjoy awful customer service.

Every time I call, I get a different rep. They NEVER know what I'm talking about, even though the previous rep tells me they'll add notes to the account.
I've had payment arrangements approved, but I've NEVER received anything in writing saying what I've agreed to pay, with amounts and term length. Therefore once my "agreement term" is done, they send me back to court because I've "defaulted".
They've frozen my bank accounts twice. The first time they just took my money, the second time they wanted me to agree and sign documents saying I'm okay with them taking my money. Why? They took it last time without my consent!
The reps don't listen, but they talk to you as if you're the dumb one and then go ahead and do what they want. I just got off the phone with one rep and she kept telling me how I'm not even paying on interest. Schooling me on how I've been paying interest, something I wasn't asking and I obviously knew interest was and is being accrued to the balance.
First of all, why approve a payment plan that is only setting me up for failure? Second, have a system in place where payments paid can help the balance go down. Third, these reps need better training in LISTENING. Not everyone defaulted on their accounts. Don't blame me for that when I was making payments.
I believe there is a system in place, they pretend to not know, to write notes in our accounts and then send documentation (ONLY IF REQUESTED) to the consumer. I've requested paperwork and every rep will tell me a different story. In the end, never sending me anything.
How do you want anyone to agree on anything but there is nothing in writing?
I'm going to report this agency for fraud and malpractice.

I made arrangements to pay off a debt in full. Since they didn't want to take a debit card, I did it over the phone from my checking account. A couple days later, they tried to tell me the payment was rejected for insufficient funds. The bill was $500, I had $12K in the bank that day. Five months later, they zapped the amount I owed, plus an additional $400 AND froze my bank account, costing me hundreds in returned check fees for bills we had paid, which we had more than enough money to cover. These people are vile and repulsive.

They get a bad wrap because they are aggressive at getting money from us that we didn't pay in the first place and now we are mad because the debt caught up with us.
Yeah I was a little miffed because if I had the money I would have paid that stuff on the first place, right? Well I was served papers and the night before my court date I called them to see what I could do. I must have gotten a good sympathic person because they worked with me. She listened to my current life struggles and we came to an agreement, gave them permission to auto deduct each month and made my first payment then and there. That was almost 2 years ago. They simply auto deduct the agreed amount and nothing else. I appreciate the fact that it's not on my credit report like some other agencies I've set payment schedules with try to do. It's slow going but I plan to call and see what is left and hopefully pay it off this year. Overall they don't hassle me, let me pick the payment date, and other than scaring me with the court date papers, have done their job and made dealing with them easy.
Do I recommend them? No! Not because of anything they did but because if it took this point to pay your bills it's taken too long especially when there are options out there that you can't count out till you try.

Paid off my judgment to them and all I asked was that they get in touch with my job to let them know that everything was paid so the garnishments would stop.
So I called my job's corp. office to speak to someone in payroll to verify that the garnishments have stopped. The payroll dept. told me that haven't received anything from the B&G.
I called B&G to find out what's going on. They tell me that they sent the information to the dept. so they in turn can get in touch with my job. That was early last week they "allegedly" sent the info. But now B&G is saying they faxed the info to my job yesterday. BUT WAIT...you told me your company faxed the info last week.
Bunch of liars! Now my check is going to be garnished again because they're slow with the paperwork. But believe me, I'm going to get back every penny that they took after I've paid them off!
