After poor counsel from a previous firm, I found myself contesting a judgement that should have never gone in favor of the petitioner. I knew I was right, and I was building evidence to support it in court. Previous counsel informed me that it could be done pro se, but the petitioner retained her attorney again leaving me with a judge that was not in favor of allowing me to represent myself. I could have proceeded, but was wise enough to heed his suggestion: enter Cordell & Cordell. With guidance from one of their attorneys, I was able to prove what had been evident all along; that I had been all but forced, by previous counsel, to sign an agreement that I did not agree with under conditions of false pretenses by the petitioner. Cordell & Cordell was able to bring out the truth of the matter and allow opposing counsel to understand that they were about to go to court to represent a fraudulent case. Suffice it to say no court presence was required to resolve the issue. Thank you Cordell & Cordell.. and Emily, you're the best!!!

My son was left in worst shape and and very broke when he withdrew from this office. Credit card maxed and still haven't met his son. They are not about helping you, they are about the money, RUN!!!

Hands down the worse law firm I’ve ever dealt with. $23,000 in a mess of a divorce that wasn’t even finished. Left so many loop holes that I nearly got killed because of it. Ended up having to pay another lawyer thousands of more dollars just to fix what they destroyed. Even had the judge tell me what a terrible job they did. This company is not a firm for fathers or military like they promised. They are a firm after money and nothing more.
So this is what is going to happen. They will have you met with a high rated lawyer with years of experience. Then they will pass your case off to a lawyer that only has about 3 to 5 years experience if that. During my time with them the settlement was in error and asked for a payment of a bill that didn't even exist for us because they just copy pasted a settlement. Then when I asked about it, they blew it off. I'm sure I was charged for them to fix it as well. That's the other thing, they will use your fear of how the american court system treats men in divorce for you to pay 3 to 5 times more for subpar service than what you could get down the street. My advice is to go down to Johnson & Johnson. You are going to spend a quarter of the amount for better representation.

The consultation was cold and extremely brief. We felt rushed. We were shopping for representation not yet ready to settle on a firm. The two firms we met with before gave free 30-45 min consultations. Cordell & Cordell charged $175 which we were unaware of until we in the conference room. We didn't like how they conducted business with us in the beginning & felt like that would continue throughout the process. We went elsewhere.
