Good Staff

Fine company for someone seeking a lawyer, but DO NOT work for them. The Human Resources woman there is extrordinarily unfriendly, rude, and never returns emails, and will then give you a write up for going to her office to speak with her when you aren't able to get in touch with her! Also, anytime an email or other written document discussing policys within the employee handbook mysteriously disappear from employee email accounts. Trust me, anytime that an employee challenges something quoted from the handbook that was incorrect or not stated in the document, all of the proof that HR or your supervisor gave you false information will vanish. Then it's your word against theirs and guess whose side they take?
On top of that, the atmosphere itself functions like cliques in high school and is uncomfortably racist. The few non-white employees there are paid significantly less, get passed over for projects that given to less experienced employees, get hounded by the HR witch over policy infractions that never have proof of having occured, and are just overall treated poorly. Extremely dissapointed in this firm's team.

My mother’s asbestos case was going well until her passing. Now Medicaid has had a hold on everything and nothing has been released since her passing in May! Seven months. While we’ve notarized and mailed back over a dozen offers. Nothing. Me and my two sisters are suffering in poverty while it could easily be dissolved under hardship as it’s the only asset we have from her and we are all living in poverty awaiting it.

The deposition was a scary thing for my husband Leroy to face. Michael Thronberry was a gods send for us..He took really good care of LeRoy..who is in very poor shape ..He made sure he was ok and got the breaks he needed..He kept us well informed on what would happen at the depostion.Michael did an excellent job ..

Used them for the 3M ear plug suit. After they asked me to provide logins to my VA medical record account, which is insanely unprofessional if not illegal, I told them I was no longer interested in their representation and asked them to stop contacting me. They continue attempting contact, harassing me for information I have refused to provide when telling them I'm not interested in their representation.

The illness and subsequent death of our loved one was an overwhelming time. When Tim got sick, he had to quit his job and we relied solely on my salary, while the medical bills were mounting and our oldest daughter was starting her freshman year at college. My daughter tried to study while knowing her father was dying. My youngest got her driver’s permit the same day as one of the days Gori Julian attorneys were preparing Tim for a deposition – she never had a chance to show her father her full driver license at 16. I want to start with an apology for the length of this comment. The short version, they are great! Long version...After finding out that my father was ill, we had a lot to think about and even more questions about why. I searched the internet and seriously prayed that God would send a group that was honest, patient and trusted to help us understand what we knew nothing about. I spoke with a young lady, Annette C., on a Sunday evening who took her time to answer all the questions I had without concerns about the weekend or the time. The next 2 business days I recieved a lot of info on my father's situation and what the next steps were to follow and who to call. Gori Julian and Associates was the firm I connected to and immediately was set with an representative who actually came to our home to talk to us and answer questions about why we were in the situation we were in. Step by step and with every deposition someone was available either by phone or came to town. The honesty of everyone was a breath of fresh air. I know first off this is unfortunately a business and some one has to represent people who are wronged and you have a lot of people who would prey upon people in such a situation, but we were treated with dignity and respect and we never had a question if this was the firm to go with or not. At this time my information as plaintiff in a Hernia Mesh Class Action Litigation has been gathered and submitted. I became a Mesothelioma patient, and a family member helped with searching for legal advice. Eventually, Gori Julian & Associates took my case and assigned attorney Jason Epps to represent me. Sent in non specified documents after phone interview said I had valid abilify case. After giving up waiting for emails to be answered i ended up sending in what i felt could help my case asking if i should fill out a statement etc.. got sent certified letter saying client relationship is ended upon review if case. What case? Spent lots of time on this with little guidance except prepaid envelope saying send what u think helps. Very disappointed. No explanation regarding what would help or what decided my case is not worth pursuing. Only was returned one of the two packages I sent in for case review.

There are many things that a lot of people do not want to do, and among that list for most people, is dealing with a lawyer. Bob Marcus, who practices here, made sure that this was not the case for me. He is an excellent lawyer and, altogether, a wonderful guy. I would ask my lawyer a simple question and it would take weeks for him to get back to me. It seemed as though my case wasn’t being worked on until I would keep calling. We would be told things that wouldn’t happen. Like phone calls, reports being dropped off, etc. that never happened. It seemed our lawyer was lying to us to keep us “happy.” Finally after almost 7 YEARS of this case going on we settled. We didn’t see a dime for a few months then it took 9 months after the settlement to receive all of our money. This is just a small glimpse into what we had to deal with.
