Mr. Holly listened to my needs and offered suggestions. It was in my best interest for Mr. Holley not to represent me. Under the circumstances it would have been costly for him to do so. I let him know that I didn't have a lot of money to spend. He could have taken the case anyway. He gave me leads to other attorneys. Mr. Holly was a God send to get me help.

I went to see Mr. Holley about getting custody of a child and he was very upfront and honest with me. He also gave me plenty of his time and explained in detail what I needed to do and what could happen. Me and my husband would highly recommend him to anyone needing legal services. This review is meant to be a word of caution to anyone with a serious case and not an extreme overflow of money. If that's the case, Reese Holley may not be the attorney for you. We retained him to represent my son in an aggravated assault case. He asked for $4500 up front. The same day, we provided him with a cashier's check for $4500. We were naive and did not ask enough questions. I'm hoping this review will keep others from making our same mistake. Reese made 2 court appearances and told my son that he would be offered 4 years probation and would most likely have to pay the medical bills incurred by the defendant. In reality, the only thing done in the those court appearances was to have the case continued. One week before my son was due in court again, Mr. Holley's office informed us that we had used up the $4500 dollars paid in already. He basically told us that if my son wanted him to continue as his attorney, we would have to pay more. We were then informed that there was no deal and that his case had been bound over to the grand jury. We consulted another attorney and although he couldn't take any new clients due to his workload, he offered us the following advice "RUN and don't look back! Accept the fact that this man has already scammed you out of $4500 and will only continue to bleed you if you stay with him". This attorney was based in Nashville but said that this wasn't the first time he had heard this about Reese Holley. He made a referral to another attorney which we are currently with. PLEASE if you choose to use this man, MAKE SURE you know EXACTLY how many court visits he is willing to make and EXACTLY what the extent of his service will be for the money you pay him up front. (because he is going to want a big chunk UP FRONT). I genuinely hope this helps someone else not make the same mistake we did! We are definitely partly to blame for not asking the right questions up front before paying him money and retaining him.
