Thank you
John helped me with a legal matter and he was willing to work for me until he had the best result I could get. He was a fair price for the amount of work I know he put into my case.
His support staff are the absolute best. I was able to call/email with any questions and they responded quickly and helped understand everything that was happening.
I would recommend JCS Law Firm again and again.
10/10 would recommend and I am so grateful for the entire staff at JCS Law.
JCS Law is the place to go if you ever had any legal issues.
Thanks,
S
I was 18 yrs old and at a party with some friends that ended with the Franklin County Sheriffs Department arriving and checking everyone under aged for being intoxicated. Earlier in the night me and a few friends smoked a little bit of marijuana just before the police arrived. I passed all the test that were given to me at the party and was told i was to leave and drive home. On my way home i got a call from a friend that was at the party and needed a ride, so i turned around to go back and get him. When i arrived back I went to the door and talked to a cop about why i have returned. Since i was there to give a friend a ride home he went inside to find other people that needed a ride as well. So clearly the cops at the party thought i was 100% ok to drive. I proceeded to only drive my friend home that i was originally there to pick up. After we left, we went to the local gas station in town and he was picked up by another friend that lived near him to be taken home. I then left the gas station and got on the highway to head home. I was pulled over immediatly after getting on the highway by a Franklin County Police Officer that was at the party. He proceed to ask me where i was coming from so i told him I was coming from the party that he and other officer just busted knowing that i was just cleared to drive home by them. He then had me get out of my vehicle to perform a sobriety test. I performed all the test and was told i failed them all. During the walk the line test i was being blown over by passing cars and semis on the highway. When he performed the eye test he had me facing the flashing lights on the cop car which made it very difficult to focus on his finger. I had not been drinking so i passed the Breathalizer test. Another officer arrived and did the eye test to me again and said that i failed again as well. He then asked my permission to search my vehicle and i allowed him to knowing i had nothing in there. He said he smelled marijuana so they proceeded to ask me multiple times if i was high. They had me call someone to pick my car up off the highway and drive me home. When my brother arrived it then changed that i was being detained and was being cited for being at a party with underaged drinking. They first took me to the Union Police stations. A Union Officer then had me do all the sobriety test over again for him and i was told by him that i passed them all. They had me do a urine test as well. After the sobriety test and being asked questions about the night. I was then taken to the Franklin County Sheriffs Station for booking. I was finger printed and was let go because i was checked out by my brother. Upon leaving i was informed that i was being charged with a DUI for drug intoxication. The next night i was searching for a lawyer and sent a brief email to John about my case and he gave me a very quit response with a phone call. John and his partner Andrew were really informative about what my next steps should be. They worked hard on my case and always kept me up to date. They dug deep into my case and got all the video and police statements. They Always gave me a very positive vibe about my case so i wanted to keep fighting it all the way to jury trial. They found out that my arresting officer was caught being drunk/drinking on the job and used that in my defense.
I am extremely pleased with John and the work of his firm. He was very informative and always kept me up to date on any new information with my case. It took almost a year and a half for my case to be over and they had so many facts to help me in my defence that the Judge dropped my case before it ever when to Jury Trial.
Besides the fact they did their job well, John and his entire staff were very nice to work with.
