Honestly, my single star rating is to gracious for the person. In my opinion, she don’t deserve the title of being an attorney. The only thing she cares about is being unethical, untruthful and unprofessional in her field. I had to fire her because she lied about being worth the money that I was paying her. Currently, I’m in the process of filing a claim against her. On a positive note, she reveal to me that their are crooked lawyers in this city and to BEWARE. It’s a money making game that preys on people that don’t know the law. Her rating is actual a zero star. It’s hard to find a quality lawyer in the Memphis area. I would recommend studying the and learn how file motions, appeals and court room procedures. Currently, I’m studying for the LSAT because of this women. In short, in my opinion, base on my experience with this person, I would seek other options.

In November 2018, she was issued an informal warning from Tennessee Bar Association. I regret reading her online profile, more importantly, I would not recommend her services to anyone.

Alicia helped me through my divorce and was great at helping me understand the perspective of the opposing (aka: female) side throughout the process. Any divorce is somewhat expensive and difficult emotionally - no matter what attorney you use, but my challenge was to get me through it as quickly as possible without a lot of drama or paying my ex some ridiculous amount of money. No cases are the exactly the same, but Alicia helped keep me focused on the end game and did a great job for me.

Very professional and smart. She also is firm and up front......but too expensive. I guess it is a lucrative business and no sympathy for claims. I imagine u have to b hard n sturdy because it is emotionally draining to deal with other human beings issues which is a lot. Overall, she is very good. Kind no her stuff.

Hello, my name is Tasha Beckins. Five stars are not enough to rate this Attorney. It just simply is not. Attorney Alicia A. Howard is the BEST!!! Hiring an attorney for my divorce was a very long process. I didn't want to just hire anyone and I sure did not! From the moment I walked in Attorney Howard's office, she was straightforward, honest, knowledgeable, and kind (in a tough love kind of way) AND THAT'S WHAT I NEEDED! I needed someone to keep me focused on the task at hand, because (whew) sometimes I would go all of topic. I needed someone to be tough for me when I was at my weakest. I needed someone to fight for me, when I felt like I didn't have any fight left.
So yes, if you're looking for someone who is tough, who will keep you straight and on task, while at the same time being a competent and exemplary attorney, THEN ATTORNEY HOWARD IS HER!!! I am sooo glad that she did not babysit me and that she kept it real! Her realness picked me off my feet. Because of her, I know justice is definitely REAL.

When trying to ask general questions about a future case for my boyfriend on his behalf the attorney asked with an attitude and why are you calling instead of you’re boyfriend and was told to call back in 20 mins , once I called back no one answered . She was very unprofessional and rude . This did NOT happen when I called over companies with the same questions on his behalf.

Honest, Humble, Caring, professional, responsive, candid, fair, made divorce process less intense although i was stressed to the max Attorney Howard helped me manage that to.

Typical Memphis Attorney. Want a ton of money for lackluster work. I could write a 10 page letter of the mess she could of dissolved. But instead keep people coming to court to line her pockets! At this point I have reported her!
