I have been working with KC Elder Law since May of 2017 when we lived in Salina, Kansas. My husband had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease with mild dementia which evolved into Lewy Body Dementia . We knew that Medicaid was an option that we were going to have to do for him as my private funds would eventually be spent. I worked with Kenneth Herring to get my paperwork in order as far as real estate, wills, Durable Power of Attorneys for Health Care & General for both me and my husband. Once this was done, I spent the majority of my time working with Daniel Flack, who specializes in Medicaid for Kansas & Missouri. He became my rock and advisor getting me ready for placing my husband in Medicaid. He answered every question, gave me wonderful advice, never was too busy for me & made me feel like I had a friend to guide me through everything. I did not end up having to file for Medicaid as my husband passed away in December but I would have no hesitation in recommending KC Elder Law to people in this situation. I feel good too knowing that if my children need help with me in the future, that they will guide them like they did me.
