Really nice people that want to help! However, there are few legal situations they can help with. No family law, no illegal evictions, but customer service was amazing ...there just isn't much they can do despite the desire to help.

If I could give no stars to Kansas Legal Services it is well deserved.
I understand there are people taking advantage of state services, yet this was not one of those cases.
I contacted KLS requesting for paperwork filed years back. From the beginning Jackie and Veronica were rude, reluctant and uncooperative. On multiple occasions, both Jackie and Veronica insulted my intellect of understanding. Veronica made a mockery of my situation while taunting she is only doing her job.
After 2 month's of the run around I was able to pick up the paperwork, which was digitally filed in the office computer database.
Upon my arrival, Veronica stated she would not release my paperwork without making a copy of my driver's license while reinstating I was in a federal building. As I was reviewing the paperwork Veronica continously commented on how I was out of luck, while herself and Jackie chuckled in laughter. Both were very unprofessional.

Although I understand the purpose of Kansas Legal Services, I also understand that there are people that abuse the opportunity and take the place, resources and time from people that truly need and deserve the same.
I would like to be allowed an opportunity to state my claims as to why some people n order to hide their follies mislead, lie and manipulate the legal system to advance her own personal interests.
My parenting abilities have been limited multiple times over matters concerning residency, health care and school enrollment.
