I don’t know why this attorney also highly rated I hired him to do a job in a civil case for the attorney generals office and he said that he would help me out he took my money went into the quart room spoke with the attorney generals office and then withdrew from my case immediately afterwards due to this I am facing 23 years because he cannot represent me and I was found guilty in my civil case because I cannot retain an attorney because they are scared of the attorney generals office

I couldn’t be happier with the results Adam got for me. I was facing a DWI charge for running a stop sign and, as a travel temp, that charge would’ve been devastating. Adam and his team really came through by obtaining all the evidence and information available and getting the DWI dropped completely in favor of a C and I and a little community service for the traffic violation. He let me pay his flat fee in monthly installments, responded promptly to questions and concerns, and was always direct and honest in his assessments of situations. He even managed to get the whole thing wrapped up before my 9-month contract in Springfield ended ensuring I wouldn’t have to return. Great experience.

I was charged with domestic assault in the fourth degree, a class a misdemeanor. This is due to my niece running out in front of a car and i pulled her back by her arm and left a bruise on her upper arm. Her biological father saw it when he tried to take his kids from their mother one weekend and reported it to the DFS office in Bates County who dismissed the allegations, DFS in Greene County investigated and dismissed them as well, but the prosecutor for Greene County chose to take the case up. Adam was able to get it reduced to a SIS, with 2 years unsupervised probation, 20 hours community service, payment of court fees and an anger management assessment, while also keeping it permanently off my record. While ilI feelnit never should have been picked up at all, I am tremendously satisfied with the results of hiring Adam as my attorney. My son employed Adam Woody to defend him on two felony charges and several misdemeanors. It was a case where appearances were deceiving and my son was innocent of the charges brought against him. I used Adam twice. My first case I was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, domestic assault, and 3rd degree assault.. Adam had me out of jail within days, and before it even made it to trial, Adam had all the charges dissmised. I hired him again for a 3rd DWI felony charge.. Once again Adam had the charge dismissed before trial.. He was always good about reviewing my case with me prior to any court appearances, and was extremely knowledgeable. I will be reporting Adam Woody to the MO BAR. I will unfortunately have to be providing recorded evidence of Adam's complete ignorance and confusion to my court case. .Prior to paying Adam he sounded great and acted as if he would really be a great asset to my case. After payment however Adam unfortunately failed me miserably. Adam pleaded with me to take a guilty plea even though time and time again I told him I wanted to go to court because I'm not guilty. Adam continued to ensure me everything will be over very quickly if you take this great guilty plea and it'll be off your record in no time. I trusted Adam unfortunately. Adam led me to take a guilty plea with 2 years of probation and 3 separate probation requirements in which he said were very quick and easy. Adam then without my knowledge then withdrew himself from my case (after he received all his pay). Then refused to help me. Months later I'm now forced to withdraw my plea due to Adam explaining to me very incorrectly of these probation requirements. Adams ignorance has left me with a great deal of court appearances, work and heart ache. Adam refused to help me with these probation requirements in which he ignorantly explained to me incorrectly. My next step is to withdraw my guilty plea end start from square one. This whole case was an unfortunate incident. It was quite an eye opener to how unhelpful, and unethical some lawyers like Adam Woody can be. In the end I believe Adam had it in with the prosecutor with their own plan encourage me to take a guilty plea with the ability of still making the prosecutor out like a winner.
