Waste of time

Took my application saying they are going to find a lawyer to assign my case to and they will call me back. I never received a call just a letter saying I was denied. It was a simple cusody case and I have low income at the moment. This is the letter they have sent saying that some lawyers might work out reasonable payment arrangements. I called to ask if they knew of any of these lawyers. They said no( because they don't exist ). I've called several lawyers and they are mostly greedy and want $5,000 with $2,500 up front just to file a piece of paper.
