I don’t know about some of these reviews, Beall & Mitchell treated me awesome when I was having wages garnished for back child support! They were taking so much I barely had enough money for ramen. I fought before to have it reduced with another law firm in town and they basically robbed me and did absolutely nothing. My attorney was on it from the second I paid, I had my child support payments adjusted (even adjusted the backchild support amount) in 4 months. So yeah...thanks guys!

Awesome law firm, Terry was my attorney in a messy divorce case and Pat represented me to get guardianship of my 2 grandchildren when the state took them away. Great place for go to if you like to find out everything going on with your case from the OTHER parties counsel. Patrick Mitchell is the worst! No calls returned, we were never notified when he kept postponing the case multiple times until they were all exhausted. And now with justHOURS before court, we come to find out he won't show to court unless we cough up $1,500. Very professional!

Got charged with my 2nd dui and when I spoke to the judge on my own I was told he wouldn't charge me for the 1st with it being 7 years prior. I paid money for someone to defend me that gave me no time or hear me out completely.

Patrick Mitchell is a horrible lawyer, me and my girlfriend went there spent 2500 up front and the first court date he was 2 and a half hours late. He tried to get us to plead no contest on a case involving the custody of our child which our public defenders said would have costed us up to 11 years if our freedom and thankfully we pled not guilty. He don't listen to what you have to say when you go talk to him and just takes your money and leaves you in the dark. The receptionists there are very rude and I've been calling about my refund and they make up excuses to not tell me how much of the 2500 remains. If I could give negative stars I would, i wouldn't recommend this law firm to anyone, public defenders are now fighting for me 3 times as hard as he's ever even attempted

Had my lawyer here for custody. From the very first start didnt feel as though he tried for me. Got to trial and then he wanted more money. As many lawyers are that's all it seemed he cared about. Didnt care about his case or client. I would recommend going else where for legal help and representation.

Pat Mitchell is awesome. He represents you well and fairly. His rates are fair and he bills you honestly.

For me, he represented me through a child custody trial and I could not have asked for better representation.

Thanks to Terrys hard work he had everything laid out but Patt is clearly a man who can think on his feet and act fast. I don't know how he did it but I went from seeing my son once a month with unnecessary supervised visits that were NOT court appointed to now seeing my son 4 times a week each day for 5 hours. Now my case isnt over yet but what felt like a wall that I couldnt climb now feels like leveled ground. I'm confident in the results that are taking place and looking forward to the future thanks to this team.

Always answer any questions I have in person or on the phone. Don't have to pay 300 an hr for 2 quick questions. Both Patrick and Terry are good guy's. Friendly front office staff as well.

A friend of mine referred me to Terry Beall for my divorce. Never been through something so challenging but Mr. Beall walked me through it and made me feel secure and informed the entire time. I had to go to court a few times and he prepared me for everything. I would have been lost (and would have lost everything) without him!

I find some of these reviews unbelievable because this law firm has helped me with my parenting situation literally each and every time I call or stop in. Very helpful with each question I have regarding anything. Yes I understand my attorney is busy when you try to reach him but that’s because he has several cases he’s working on which is why his staff is extremely helpful. Judy knows what she’s talking about Terry is awesome as it is Pats partner he covered one day for pat instead of rescheduling my court hearing and Pat is seriously an animal in court. He comes across as someone who would be only sweet “which he truly is” but when it came to court he is a whole different person and it shocked me with how amazing he is with not only his verbiage and wording of things but how he articulates what it is he’s trying to get across on the matter. I rate this firm 5 out of 5 stars as it deserves it! When credit is due I am a firm believer in showing some sort of graditude 5 STARS!

This law firm is the worst. They were assigned to help me do a child support adjustment through Kansas legal aide and after paying them $500 they never sent me any paperwork. Until 5 months later I get a court date and a bill. Saying they need $180 to continue to finish the child support adjustment. I discontinued services and paid another law firm $360 and had it done in 2 month. The woman in his office was rude, had no knowledge of my case at all and could not answer what my $500 had been spent on. When I reviewed the items he claimed to charge me for were bogus. " Email time" I've never spoken to anyone over email. And 6 hours of court things. When we have never even been to court. It was a simple file to send over and that was all he needed to do. I have documented everything and have filed a complaint with the Kansas legal aide as well. Do not give any money to this law firm! Run!

Horrible, find another law firm to represent you. They will suck your bank account dry and ruin your life. Took almost two years to get a divorce, when I finally got back in my house everything was gone. Was left with nothing but debt. Lawyers are supposed to protect they're clients, not here. I could have done the same bad job they did, and at least had a few dollars left to my name.

I hired Mitchell to represent me for a court case, their was very poor communication, doesn't let you know what's going on. The day of the trial, he didn't even show up, he had some other attorney take his place and she knew nothing about the situation. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

Horrible!! Be prepared to be left out in the dark with your case. I always had to call and call to get any kind of update or to get the process moving (phone calls costs). If that wasn't annoying enough, they have owed me a couple of hundred dollars (my money) and for whatever reason they cannot seem to find a way to mail me a check...its been four months and 5 phone calls or so later and I still have not been refunded my unused retainer fee. No way I'd ever consider them for anything down the road, be careful!
