We really appreciated the guidance that we sought regarding a real estate transaction but we have been waiting for the Mr Weber to draft a simple agreement for over 3 WEEKS! We call everyday to ask the status an have only had one call returned which they promised to have the agreement done the following day. Well, it is still not done. I hired Weber based on all of his great online reviews. The moment I gave him a check for $3000, he said the best thing to do was to pray. Then he ignored my multiple attempts to contact him for nearly a month. He insisted that we go to trial, which meant more fees for him. I hired him to get a case dismissed that was clearly frivolous and didn’t even meet Kansas standards to be filed. He refused to file a motion to dismiss and ignored every suggestion I gave him regarding how frivolous the case was. He only wanted more money and to delay proceedings as long as possible. After I fired him, he had the nerve to try to charge me another $1000. Thankfully he had a change of heart and backed off. Once I hired a competent lawyer, the case was dismissed almost immediately. His assistant April was great, but I can’t imagine anyone relying on him to get anything accomplished. His constant quoting of scripture and ignoring my requests to file the motions I hired him to file seemed to me unprofessional and disrespectful. He took my $3000 and got nothing accomplished. After I fired him, the competent attorney had better rates and had the case dismissed almost immediately.

Wow!! I am amazed at what Weber Law Office did for me. First, April. Amazing. I needed help, right away for my son(traffic). I called Weber law because of the ratings I saw online. April immediately assisted me during this emotional time and related. I work in customer, so to engage, and make me feel welcomed is not something that can be easily done. It wasn't transnational, all of my interactions with April and Mr. Weber were extremely memorable. That's what you need when you're going through a tough time. You want to know that you can trust and depend on the lawyer that you're hiring. I called on a Wednesday morning, probably when they first opened. He was very expensive for what I had and seemed to only care about money. I literally only talked to Weber 2 times, the rest was with his secretary. It all started when I was going to court with my ex over our son, I wanted to see him more. I went to Weber and it started out great, I have never hired a lawyer before, and he told me how it all worked and what would happen so I could see my son more. He said I could see him on the major holidays, and everyone weekend. I paid him $1500, went to court for him to tell me my ex won't let me see our son as much as I asked, so I had to go to a mediator. The mediator explained a lot more then Weber did about the whole thing and told me I should be able to see my son every weekend and with every holiday, not just the major ones. Finally I am getting emails from Weber's secretary who is sending me papers via email from my ex's lawyer about a new schedule with my son and what not. After a few of those she says I need to pay $300 more dollars because she has been sending me emails, she was useless! I asked her why and she said she has been corresponding emails to me from my ex's lawyer. I couldn't believe it. I paid $1500 for Weber to to say, yep you should get more time with your kid pay me $1500 and we'll get it done. Then come to find out that $1500 was just for 15 minutes in court and then for his secretary to say I owe another $300, I wasted my saving on this useless law firm. Please look at other lawyers beside Weber.

April and Joe handled my expungment and my daughters adoption. They meet or exceeded all of my expectations with very reasonable cost as well.

My husband and I went to Joseph Weber with a time sensitive issue about our adoption. I was frantically calling lawyers at 5:30 one night and no one was answering but I was leaving messages. Mr. Weber called me back that evening around 8:30 and we made an appointment for 8:00 am the next day. We explained our situation to him and the fact that we needed the issue resolved quickly to make our adoption possible. The process traditionally can take about 2 to 3 months. Joseph Weber had us in to see a judge 9 days after our meeting (normally about 3 weeks for this to happen) and had our issue resolved that very day. Not only was he able to quickly act and help us with our adoption but his prices were very reasonable. He gave us a flat rate for the services that seemed very fair for how well known of a lawyer he is. I hope I never need a lawyer again but if I do, I will call Mr. Weber first!
