This was my first experience retaining an attorney, so me not knowing much I just did a simple google search, black and Graham was rated the highest plus they are the most expensive around. I thought that means they are great what they do... well lol I was wrong. They are great at giving bad advice and and taking advantage of people like me who relies on autocorrect to type.

I've made my complaint to them and they stand by their lawyers actions, which they should otherwise why would they be working their. Plus they are good with words as lawyers are so they turn me taking advice from my attorney to you got what you wanted.

Since I hate reading long reviews I'll sum it up. After retaining a new law firm, my new attorney ended up getting everything I was asking for. So don't be me and go with the best google review and most expensive. Theres better out their for less. My new attorney actually cut me a huge deal because they are familiar with how black and Graham operates.

It's a 2 star review because they are good at taking advantage of the simple guy who doesn't know much about law firms. Plus they don't have a 2 star review and they deserve more of them.

I spent over 13k, my lawyer left the firm in the middle of our case, Black and Graham promised to appoint a new one but then found a loophole to drop me stating 1)conflict of interest 2) no other attorneys available in their office with the time/expertise to help me in my family law case. literally 13k down the drain leaving me to start over. Graham took on my case a couple of years ago,

I was a single father with stacks of evidence including photos of burns that my ex-wife left on my son, audio recordings, please reports, etc.

I saw lots of good reviews but the couple negative ones turned out to be the most honest.

In the beginning he really appealed to me by telling me about all of the cases he had won and selling me what I wanted to happen on mine.

When it came time to start working on my case I quickly found out that Graham was a lot more talk then he was capable of acting on.

We had a CFI assigned to work our case, I had never dealt with the CFI before and was on sure of what to expect.

One would think that their attorney would attempt to prepare them for what might come up however not this attorney, it was quickly evident that I was a paycheck and not a father fighting for his son.

I confronted him after he told me to “just accept their proposals,” Graham quit shortly after abruptly and over email. He told me that he didn’t want to work on my case any longer and then tried to ask for several thousand dollars more.

Please think twice before coming here, if you do end up hiring Graham then be Conscious of how much effort he invests in your child’s future, if it’s not the amount you think your family deserves then don’t let Graham continue to fall short of you and your children.

I must say I had high hopes hiring Mr. Black but wasn’t all too satisfied with the outcome. I just really hoped things had worked out differently and also that I had some more intel from him with full disclosure just to prevent such a disappointment.

Carl Graham assisted me with a family case and I could not be more impressed. He told me very plainly upfront what he thought of the case, what was possible, and what it would take to get there. He guided the case through over a year of mediation and litigation and in the end, out prepped and out planned the opposing side.

Additionally, the support at Black and Graham was top notch. Paralegals and office staff are professional, competent, and kind.

I wish I had selected a different firm to represent my case. The lawyer assigned to me was unresponsive, wasted huge gaps of time that should have been spent on time sensitive aspects of my case and over charged me by thousands of dollars for wasteful late actions. $15,000 later, I asked them to withdraw so I could secure better counsel to represent me.

Kyle was extremely rude on my initial phone call just to receive information on scheduling an appointment. She used terminology that I wasn't familiar with and when I asked for more guidance on a word she was using she got an attitude with me as if I was annoying her. I’m new to this subject and I googled the best law firms and I thought I would be choosing this company, because of their high ratings. I've utilized Jenni in two separate custody disputes with favorable results in both, the first in 2011 and another in Oct. 2016. Jenni was able to prevent my ex from leaving the state with my daughter, obtained 50/50 custody, and just recently secured full custody as my ex attempted move again. I had moved from Colorado Springs to Aurora. I was in a car accident in 2011 and thought that it had been taken care of. Unfortunetly it wasn't. I was picked up on a bench warrent.
