Some people, like me, enjoy this no-nonsense approach simply because it's realistic. I had a case that took over 4 months to float through the court system. Dan was able to offer me the steps I had to take so I could provide documentation for the judge to see at my hearing. Needless to say, the outcome was no less than ideal.
This man knows what he's doing on your case, and more importantly, most if not all of the local (Colorado Springs) judges know him on a professional level. Dan Kay is a cut above those “TV ad” guys. He doesn’t farm cases out to a stable of lawyers; he personally works on them himself…even the smaller ones like mine. And, in my cases, he was persistent and creative in making sure the insurance company took care of me like it should. Through no fault of my own, I ended up in two car accidents over the last year. I thought I’d try to reason with the insurance company so I didn’t have to use litigation. But the agents offered my only $2,000 on my first case, and, after claiming I was negligent, said they’d pay nothing on my second. Mr. Kay reached settlements in my favor for tens of thousands for both cases. I can’t recommend him enough. Hopefully I won’t be in any more accidents, but I’ll certainly call him again if I am.
